-HIM-
Today, I am late for college. We don't have classes very often now except for some extra classes since we'll be having finals in just a couple of months. Most of the students are on study leave but I have visit college almost every day due to being the student council president. This adds more to my plate.
I cannot wait for college to be over. I will be finally free and could be involved with pack business but at the same time, I have to find my mate in the remaining time. The only thing that I know about her that she studies here and is a student of the first year.
After freshers, since we went home Brooke had been planning and plotting all sorts of things so that we could find her easily. Meanwhile, Davis has promised to share some of my workload so that I could get more time to find my mate.
Her scent hits me like a kick straight to the guts as soon as I step into the corridor that leads to my office. I halt on my steps as I breathe her in. Her intoxicating scent stirs my wolf and manages to breathe in life into me that I had been missing for the past few weeks.
I let my nose guide me towards the scent. It takes me towards my office. Chaos greets me when I enter my office. The place has been trashed. It looks like someone raided this place. Nothing is broken, just the things have been moved around and scattered.
Her scent is the strongest here. There's one more scent present in the room but my wolf is too occupied with our mate's scent to even notice the other sent. It indicates that two people did this.
Their scent is fresh in my office, especially my mate's. It's like she has been here just moments ago but what was she doing here? Did she do this? Why would she do this? Is she someone from the opposition's lobby?
All these questions start to flood my mind as I step inside my office and look around all the things that have been misplaced. Even though nothing seems to be broken, it's still vandalism. This could be a great opportunity when I finally catch her.
Just thinking about meeting her makes me and my wolf excited. We could finally meet her. After this long and frustrating game of hide and seek, I am close to catching her. Only thinking about this makes my heart skip a beat. I want her pretty badly at this point.
My eyes catch something hanging from the edge of the table. It looks like an ID. Suddenly, the wheels in my head start spinning. I don't delay to get the thing to look at. I feel a new spark of hope as soon as I see the ID. This could be hers!
Name: Holly Carter
Year: 1st
"Am I speaking to Holly Carter, a student of History in the first year?" Brooke inquires in a serious tone. After a moment of silence, she answers, "Yes, and who are you? How did you get my number?"
"You'll get your answers at the student council president's office," Brooke answers sternly before the line is cut. She gives me a blinding smile before hugging me.
"She is coming," She squeals.
"Yes," That's all I manage to mutter. I'm too excited to believe that we are finally so close to meeting her. The blond girl from the ID picture walks into the office with her eyes wide. As soon as her blue eyes meets mine, my chest vibrates with an angry growl. I and my wolf are instantly mad. This is not what we were expecting!
She's not my mate.
"Holly," I growl, making her freeze at her place.
