Granny Emily once told him that his mom always smelled nice. The lady in front of him had the same scent, so she couldn’t be a bad person

Brittany took him to the hospitals convenience store and bought him a snack 

Entering the convenience store, the child was fascinated by the array of goods. He immediately spotted the ice cream in the freezer. 

His dad always forbade him from eating such things. He said it wasn’t good for his health, 

He really wanted some ice cream. He tugged on Brittany’s clothes and said, “I want ice cream. 

Brittany couldn’t bear to say no to the child, so she bought him an ice cream. They sat in the back garden, and she said, “First eat your snack, and you can only have a tiny bit of ice cream.” 

The child was really hungry. He took a spoonful of the snack and found it delicious. It was just his taste 

After a mouthful, he looked at Brittany and offered her some with his spoon. “Do you want some?

Brittany looked at the child with affection. She had never forgotten the child from her past during her years abroad. It was just a shame that he had left. 

After the child finished his snack, Brittany said, “You can only have a little bit ice cream.”

Isaac’s face hardened. 

Daniel always missed his mom all these years, but his dad couldn’t give him one. Emily had to lie out of kindness, but she never expected him to go to the hospital 

“Your mom isn’t at the hospital. Don’t come here again.”
