" So much for not leaving me" I mumbled as I wandered into my kitchen. I had hoped I would find him already awake somewhere in the house but I'm guessing he needed to head to work.

To make things worse I had no milk in the fridge. Am I really going to have to go out just to get a decent coffee?

I stepped into the hallway to slip on some shoes when the door opened and there staring me right in the face was Nick.

Tesco bag hanging from his arm and two coffees in this other hand.

"where do you think you're going "he eyed me in my coat and about to slip on my trainers.

"I thought you left"

He grinned standing up straight. "I did but I'm back as you can see. I checked your fridge, but it was empty, so I bought you some breakfast" he wasted no time as he walked inside. I don't know why I was so surprised.

I followed inside the kitchen he placed a cartoon of eggs followed by sausages tomatoes and mushrooms.

After staring at him for 2 minutes I decided to do something. I grabbed plates and glasses from the cupboard and laid them out for us.

I feasted my eyes on the pure orange juice he bought. Greedily I poured a glass to the top before leaning back and gulping down the fresh juice.

When most of the glass was finished, I placed it down and licked my lips. I found nick right in front of me, he brought his finger swiping underneath my lip. "thanks" I whispered trying not to think too much about his hungry gaze.

"That was the hottest thing you've ever done" he mumbled shaking his head and getting back to the food at hand.

Now I was the one grinning, I liked that I could tease him by just simply drinking orange juice.

After taking pride in my actions I finally decided to help him with the food. It wasn't fair to just leave him to do it all himself. As much I would love to just sit back and watch.

"C'mon just one, they are delicious" I glared at him. He was currently forcing me to eat a stupid mushroom. They were all piled into a corner on my plate and Nick noticed this.

"if they are so delicious eat them yourself" I said leaning back. I had never liked mushrooms for as long as I could remember, and I don't plan on starting to eat them now. Not a chance in hell.

Nick finally gave up and piled all my mushrooms on his fork and eating them.

"I think not, go brush your teeth before you kiss me" I dodged him as he tried to lean in for a kiss.

Nick stared "are you serious" he couldn't believe that I wouldn't let him kiss me.

I leant overturning his head so that I could kiss his cheek instead "Deadly"

Nick wasn't prepared to head to work without a kiss, so he ran to the toilets and brushed his teeth for the second time today. I was doing him a favour we can't have him in the office with mushroom breath.

I'm sure he will thank me later.

I cleaned up our plates whilst Nick got ready for work. I had told my boss that I would work from home today I didn't really feel like going out.

Walking into the bedroom I found Nick finally dressed into smart buttoned shirt and black trousers. He was sitting on my bed tying the laces to his shoes.

Without warning I straddled him lap forcing his arms to wrap around and grab me to keep my still.

I tilted his head slowly and pressed my lips against his. He responded instantly kissing me with the same passion.

"first you tease me with your sexy orange juice drinking and now I have to go to work clearly turned on, are you trying to kill me" I laughed a light one at his words.

Admittedly I had no purpose to make him feel this way or walk into his office with an obvious hard on.

"just mild torture" I mumbled placing one last kiss on his cheek.

Nick slowly picked me up and placed me back onto the floor. I have seen this annoyed look on his face multiple times. He doesn't want to leave me, but he also knows he needs to go to work.

"I'll have to endure it for a few hours" this meant that he was planning to see me tonight.

"don't you get bored of me" I didn't want him to think he needed to babysit me I have Kate to do that now since last nights little scare. I knew I would have to start taking my privacy more seriously.

Nick pulled my arm bringing me closer to him. He parted his large thighs giving me room to stand in between them, not like I had much choice.

"I don't think I ever will get bored of you, why did you have other plans I can always leave it tonight if you would rather do something else"

Originally, I thought he was trying to make me feel guilty, but I also think he was being cautious of me. I really enjoyed Nick's company but I'm starting to think my social life is becoming non existent especially with work.

"I planned to see some old friends, I've kind of abandoned my friendships since starting this job" I explained to him.

He pressed me into his chest "that's fine with me, if you do plan to go out please get home safely, I don't enjoy getting calls from your anxious father "

"Kate's not letting me out of her sight so I wouldn't worry" like that was going to get him to stop worrying about me. I liked that he cared for me in such an intense way but at the same time he needed to just calm down.

"that's pretty impossible for me" he mumbled as he kissed my lips one final time. It was already 8.50 so he really needed to be going any minute.

I felt like a married couple as I walked him to my door, sending him off to work as I stayed home. It was weird for me to even think that we could possibly be together for some time and maybe have future.

That's scary.

I rushed upstairs to get ready for my day. I felt bad that I was neglecting my friends. It wouldn't surprise me if it was awkward because they see me on social media and tv so it's not like I can say I've been busy.

After I left college, I only really stayed in touch with 2 of my friends, we shared a house together in our second year. Mary was a kind of crazy girl; she had always been close with boys most of her life after growing up with 4 brothers.

She only got along with me and our other friend Olivia who was more a serious girl. She had this straight face most of the time making it difficult for people to approach her but when you got to know her it was great.

I guess its my fault for not attempting to stay in touch more since they were the ones that endured college unlike me who couldn't wait to leave the education system.

Xander, who was Olivia's very handsome boyfriend was a close friend of Jack's, so I was able to ask him where the girls were having dinner. I had seen some posts on their Instagram saying they were going to have a girly day.
