" Selena, we have work to do why are you stalking some girl on Instagram"

I groaned from my office chair, why does my boss have time to spy on me. Ever since learning about about Ben and Nick' history i can't stop thinking about it.

" I already sent you my new designs, what more do you want from me" i said my eyes not leaving my laptop.

Jack walked inside, finding comfort in my sofa chairs. Great now i have to speak to him when rather I'd just sit here in silence and try to figure out Justine.

A part of me wants to find out more, but then on the other hand i want to respect her privacy and not get involved.

"What's going on with you, you missed all your meetings today and cancelled last nights event is there something going on"

Even though he is firstly my boss he was my friend from the very start.

I locked my phone.

" how are you an Molly, still going strong" i said as folded my arms. I motioned to his lower region. Jack gaped at me before sighing.

"So it's about Nick"

" well alright i have exactly 23 minutes until my meeting talk to me, vent if you need"

I laughed, we haven't done this in a very long time. Before Jack started this company he had a lot of free time so we would spend a lot of time talking like this.

" Right right Ben isn't just your driver but he is also your family friend" well I'm glad he listens.

Sometimes i worry my words just go straight through. This gives me a little bit of hope.

" he's just protecting his sister nothing more nothing less selene" Jack said as he spoke to me, i let him know about the situation. I know that i could trust him to keep it to himself. He had no urge to tell anyone.

" why did it have to be Nick though, its not making my life very easy" i groaned leaning back in my chair.

Jack stood up checking his watch " since when was your life ever easy"

It's true. Ive never had a straight forward road in my life there always eems to be soemthing in my way but not anything i couldnt handle.

How was this any different.

Jack had to leave for the meeting. I was on my way out when i got a text from Nick. i was under the impression he was completely packed at work so this surprised me.

Meet me at 34 Ludlin avenue, i need your help

There was no real context to the message but something seemed odd about this.

I packed my stuff into kate's car when i recieved my next message from him.

Don't call Ben

Kate didnt even bat an eyelash when she pulled into my drive from being at her office earlier. I had to hand it to dad he really outdid himself with kate. She never overstepped the boundaries, she didnt control me she really was just there to protect me which made me satisfied enough to keep her around.

The address that we arrived at was not far from the city. The house was a small quaint little property with a childens park just opposite.

I walked up to the door just about to knock on the door when it was oppened and there stood Nick. he wore his work suit but yet he looked tired and mentally exhausted.

"What are we doing here" i asked as i walked up to him. I weved my fingers through his hair.

He leant forward. "It's been eating away at me i cant get any sleep. I contacted justine, this is her place" i widened my eyes befre looking past him.

I saw a young woman sitting on the sofa with a man arm aorund her shoulder.

" seriously? And now you decided to tell me"

He sighed " i know I'm sorry, i think she might need another girl to talk to" he informed me.

Nick took my hand and led me inside the house.

Justine looked at me, she stood up wiping her hands on her light grey jeans. She definetely was the sister of ben i could clearly see it in the eyes and also the similar bone structure.

" All these years i wondered if I would ever meet you" she said stepping forward.

" I'm surprised it took us this long to meet if i'm honest" i said, i didnt even think twice about hugging her. I wrapped my arms around her. I could tell that she was surprised at this but she didnt reject it.

Thank fuck for that. Would be embarrassing.

She turned to the guy beside her. " This is my fiance filipe" i was surprised to say the least. She was quite young.

"Nice to meet you" i said hsaking his hand.

" do you girls want to talk privatey, you can use my office" he said wrapping his arm around justine.

I tuned to nick, he nodded at me.

We both walked into the office, we sat together on one of the sofa chairs.

" is that?" i pointed at the familar jacket that she was wearing. It was the main piece in my collection last year.

She looked down and smiled " yeah it is, Ben makes sure to buy me your collection when he can. I really am a fan of your designs" this warmed my heart.

How did ben keep his sister away from me for so long.

" I'll make sure to send you all of my collection sicne you wear it so ellegantly" i was happy to see her smile at this.

I watched her fiddle with her fingers on her lap. " i dont know what happened in your past Justine but if youre uncomofrtable with Nick being here I'll kick him out right now" Nick should've thought about this before just coming unnanounced.

" its not Nick's fault. It was only a matter of time before we met again"

I wouldn't say that. I dont plan on meeting any of my ex boyfriends any time in the future.

" I have never seen Ben angry so for him to get so pissed at Nick for whatever happened between you too, it has to be soemthing bad and there is no need to remind yourself of that" since when did i turn into a shrink.

" it was my fault. I made ben believe that it was Nick's fault but i kept a lot of the truth from him"

To be honest if i had a brother like Ben i would too.

" I dont expect you to tell me your secrets they are yours to keep but i do want to understand it more. I really like Nick but if he has some bad intentions"
