“Whoa, Dad, I’m scared!” Elowen was so frightened that she buried her head in between Lysander’s calves; her chubby hands were clinging to his leg tightly as her plump little body tensed with fear. 

Lysander bent over to take Elowen into his arms; his large hand fondled her little head, “Don’t be afraid, Daddy’s here.” 

After a simple reassurance, he put Elowen, then the rest three kids in the car. He closed the car door and looked up at the sky. 

Dark clouds filled the sky, with lightning still illuminating the clouds. It was about to rain soon. 

Thalassa hated this kind of stormy weather, especially the thunder. 

Lysander’s deep gaze looked towards the west gate. He thought he saw Thalassa here just now. But when he looked, she had already turned away, lowering her head and walking off. 

He wasn’t sure if she was still there. 

Lysander asked David to wait here as he made a long stride towards the west gate of the cemetery. 

There was no one here except for the evergreen trees planted. He looked down the road but still didn’t see Thalassa.
