The Breath Of Life novel Chapter 28

We're already parked, Tim was about to get out, but stopped. "Are you alright Zach? You scared me for a minute, were you talking with your wolf?" I nodded looking away.

I can hear my wolf chuckle. I rolled my eyes at him. "I'm fine, lets go eat. I'm starving." I said getting out of the truck.

I saw Light and Elmo getting out of a blue Camaro. I saw the twins get out of their blue mustang, then ran to Light.

They both hold their arms out for Light to take. I saw her smile at them, then take both their arms in hers. I waved at Elmo who was looking at the twins. Tim hold the door for us, while we walk inside.

A waiter named James, a human, showed us to our table by the window. He took our drinks, we all got the same thing, cherry coke.

We looked at our menus while we wait for our drinks to come back. He came back with our drinks, then we ordered.

Light got a streak, with a baked potato, and gravy on the side. Twins got the same, grilled Shrimp, with Mac-cheese on the side.

Elmo got a salad dressing, but also ordered cheese fries too. Tim and I got a bacon cheeseburger with fries on the side.

While we wait, we played a game called 'what do you see' I laughed a little when we try to find something green.

Light frowned when no one couldn't find it. She rolled hers eyes, while pointing to a sign that says 'Beer' and it glowed green.

Our food came out, and we started to eat. Light was the first one done, then Tim, then me, then Elmo, and twins last. When the waiter came back, he kept looking at Light.

I know she dressed nice, but he won't keep his eyes off her. "Can I get you guys anything else?" He said to us, but said it directly to Light who just smiled.

I grabbed the table for support when my wolf wanted out, and rip this James kid throat out.

I tried calming down, but every time he looked at her, he's looking down at her chest. My wolf was growling at me, to let him out. I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked up to see Tim looking worried.

I shooked my head looking somewhere else.

I need to get out, but I also need to pay my bill. I turned back to this stupid kid. I can feel my eyes turning black now.

I took a breath then said, "Can you get the bill. Hurry please." I said angry. He nodded than ran to get it. As we wait, everyone looked at me, expect Light, she was looking elsewhere.
