At least they're watching over me, or just staying away from me.

I walked over to the cracked door and grab the squeaky handle, jerking it a little. I opened it before jogging down the stairs to the second floor where I noticed the others. They were all at the doors, laughing and pointing at the me. "Finally! Your leaving so I don't have to see your horrid face." Noah was one of my bullies who didn't care about anyone, but did I care...no.

"Well, at least I don't have to hear you have sex with your best friends girl." I chuckled before heading down stairs, but I could faintly hear the sound of cussing.

As I made it down the swirling stairs, I found it odd that I was leaving. All my life I've been here, chasing my tail from boredom, literately, but what can I say. It's exciting.

My eye caught Ms. Grossman talking to my new family.

Walking into the room everyone stopped talking and turned to me. Mrs. Roger cleared her throat, giving me a reassuring smile. "Well, we better getting going. Do you have everything you need Lightning before we head out?"

I look at them closely for real and I never felt happy for a long time. "Yes, I'm ready Mrs. Rogers."

I turned to Ms. Grossman, remembering the old days that was not as fun from the bullying and the rules that I played to. But this will be the last time I'll see her. "Thank you for taking care of me when my parents left. Thank you very much." Ms. Grossman was shocked, but cleared it up with a warm smile.

I headed out the door where there was a blue Dodge truck, it was parked in the gravel. Timmy, being the gentleman he is, I hope, grab my suitcase, and put it in the back of the truck.

Before getting in, I turned back to the orphanage, noticing the other kids were watching me. I smirked, "See ya, jackasses!" I shouted.

I got a lot of hurtful faces, and some bad symbols from the kids who were my bullies, but I just laughed and enjoyed it.

I hopped in the back seat before buckling up, then turned my attention to Mrs. Roger who was surprised by my actions.

"So Mrs. Roger, where do you live?" She didn't answer first because Timmy got to it first.

"We live in the woods, we live far away from that dump you once lived at. How did you manage to stay there anyway?" He asked curiously.

"Well it's simple, Ms. Grossman never changed the place. I lived in the attic by myself for eleven years. It stinks in the attic, and it's cold. Mold is all over the wall and floors, so that's why it's a dump. And I'm used to everything anyway." Timmy gave me a sad small.
