The Breath Of Life novel Chapter 96

I wasn't paying attention when someone punched me in the face. I was knocked off my feet. I looked up to see the hunter that I met when I went to see Marcus at his banded place he lived in. I got up and punch him in the face. He stumbled back as I hit him right in the nose. His nose started bleeding and he yelled that I broke it. I smiled and knocked him off his feet and my Gun-blade was in my hand that turned into a a gun. I pointed it at his head. His eyes had fear in them as I stared right into them. "Please. I s-s-surrender." He said backing up. I saw he was about to get a gun from a dead hunter's. "Sorry." I said and shot him in the head. I know what your thinking. I shot a guy in the head and his head blowed up. Yep, I did that.

I saw Zach fighting a rogue and a hunter at the same time. I quickly changed into my wolf form and ran to him. The rogue jumped on his back as the hunter grabbed Zach's throat. My anger grew more like a wild animal. As the hunter was about to snap Zach's neck I jumped on the hunter's back and quickly put my mouth around the back of his neck. He stumbled backwards that gave Zach a chance to get the rogue off his back and killed it quickly as I snap the hunter's neck.

I jumped back, but got attacked again by another hunter. I turned into my bear and got him in the face with my claws. He fell to his knees and looked up, but I quickly did it again. His body fell to the ground. I looked around to see Marcus fighting Janet's mom who was a gray and brown wolf. Marcus was in his wolf form. I tried running to them, but again I was to late. Janet's mom was dead by my own uncle. Marcus snap her neck in half. She fell to the ground and Janet's father saw his mate dead and he went crazy. He ran toward my uncle at fast pace. I knew that was a bad move where Marcus moved out of the way and went to his back leg and ripped it off. Janet's father yelped or I mean howled in pain. Marcus grinned in his wolf form and killed Janet's father. They were all dead, Janet's family is dead even her.

I growled and ran to Marcus. He didn't even see me as I pushed him which made him roll across the snowy ground. I lowered my head and bared my fangs at him. He did the same and he ran toward me. My paw went across his face as he yelped, but he did it back. We circled each other till I hear him in my mind. 'You think you can win this fight. I'll just kill you at the end.'

The vision came back to me where we were the only ones left and I killed him as he killed me at the same time as my sword went through him. 'You can't win this. The only way to end this war is one of us dies. And you know there is no space for the both of us.' He said in my head. 'Well then. Let's get this over with then.' I charged at him and we clashed each other.

We snarled at each other and we bite each other as well. He charged at me and knocked me off my feet. He was on top of me and my paws were on his chest trying to get him off. All of a sudden, a sudden force pushed Marcus right off me. I looked to my right to see Lilly with her hands in the air with my dagger in her hand. She ran to me and fell to her knees. "Are you alright Lightning?" I nodded my wolf head.

'Thanks. Now go back to the tree okay.' I said in her mind. She nodded and ran back to the tree. I got up and looked around for Marcus who was no where in sight. I changed back into human form and looked around again till I heard a yell. I was quick and held up my arm with my shield. Marcus was there. I pushed him back with my shield and drew my sword as well.

As he lift his sword I lifted mine and sparks flew. How am I going to end this war. It's hard to kill him. "LIGHTNING!!" I turned around to see Lilly being grabbed by a hunter who saw her in the tree. I turned back to Marcus, but he was gone. I turned into my cheetah and ran as fast as I can to her. I jumped on the hunter and pulled him to the ground. I ripped him into pieces until he stopped moving. I turned back and looked up to see Lilly holding her leg which was scratched up pretty bad.

I climbed up the tree and quickly healed it, then got back down. "Remember to use the dagger. Alright." She nodded at me. I ran back into the battle where everyone was fighting. I saw Elmo laying on the ground not moving and I quickly rush to him. "ELMO! ELMO!" I said as I dropped to my knees. He was in a circle of blood, his own blood.
