The furious hurricane blue eyes that he had heated my body in the most enchanting way. The suit was tight, showing the rippled muscles underneath along his strong body structure. I observed him as he stood right in front of me, his face was the most beautiful thing I saw; his full lips and ruffled brown hair made him even more of a masterpiece. I almost rolled my eyes at the thoughts in my mind that seemed too poetic for my liking but they were true, he was a masterpiece.
Our mate was very handsome. Lace purred in satisfaction and I found myself smiling at the warmth of the Alpha that was as observing as I was.
Alpha Raden had to ruin the moment. He separated us and The unknown Alpha looked like he wanted to cut his head off; Nobody was allowed to even place a hand between newly found mates. I wasn't expecting to find my mate right after I shifted. I thought I had to go through the mysteries or land in another territory to be able to find my mate. Turned out, it was an Alpha which made him have rights to possess me as his Luna.
I slightly paled as I remembered the promise I made to avenge my mother and sister's death. I couldn't let them both notice that so I would have to search secretly for the one who started the fire.
"She will go with you as the rules of mating still applies but that doesn't mean there will be peace between my pack and yours." The crowd all seemed to disperse quickly because Alpha Raden commanded them to in order not to listen, he treated us like we weren't a part of his pack at all, he doesn't let us listen to what he decided nor let us into any occasions with other packs. We were like prisoners to him.
"Trust me, Raden, I strongly still fight against you." He hissed at him and grabbed my arm tightly. I wondered what kind of a problem their pack faced with mine but all thoughts flew out the window when his voice made me shiver at how deep it was. We both remained quiet and I felt even more lost. We would have been kissing and hugging each other because of how strong our scents meshed indicating the mating was powerful. There was even distance between us when we were seated in his black Range Rover.
I didn't know which was scarier, the silence my mate spread around us or the deranged looking driver with a full scar on his face. I was fidgeting every minute because I wanted to jump on my mate in glee and sniff him but seeing how cold-blooded he was made me doubt myself. What if he hated how I looked like? What if he thought I was a creep when I stared at him? Oh god, maybe he saw my wolf and thought she was ugly.
Hey! Lace snapped at the insult in my head and I let out a tiny chuckle that didn't go unnoticed by the daunting Alpha.
"What's so funny to you?" He asked with a stone cold expression. I was mesmerized until I forgot that he talked to me.
My eyes widened, "nothing that should worry you." Picking my words was a tough choice since I was raised to be confident and strong opinionated but the way anger radiated from him made me weak.
He huffed and turned to the window like he did before and I just crossed my arms with an ambiguous scowl on my face. So much for mate interaction.
