“How did this happen?” Alexander whispered to himself, his voice trembling after the initial shock wore off. 

His gaze shifted toward the southwest, where a thick haze of dust and rubble marked the remains of Shadow Castle’s outskirts. 

Then, his eyes locked onto the eerie, glowing green eyes of the beasts staring back at him. 

A cold shiver crawled down his spine, leaving him unnerved. 

“Commander–in–chief Ramsey,” he stammered, “d–did you already foresee this? 

“Wh–who could have done something like this?” 

The air around them was heavy with an unnatural stillness, almost menacing in its silence. 

The elite soldiers exchanged nervous looks, their faces drained of color, their expressions a mix of fear and disbelief. 

Simmond’s mouth felt like sandpaper, his thoughts still tangled in the aftermath of the deafening explosion that had rocked the ground moments ago. 

He couldn’t help but recall how he had once been consumed by bitterness toward Robin, how he had argued fiercely to persuade him to lead the Star Troopers to establish a camp in that bright, open area. 

But no one could have predicted that the instant Reynold planted the Star Troopers‘ flag there, the entire site would be wiped off the map. 

The base had been annihilated by a cutting–edge, catastrophic weapon–laser–targeted cluster explosives. 

During a briefing by the Thalrex Order, experts from the Advanced Science Division revealed that the Mystic Realm master controlled 180 varieties of highly destructive armaments. 

These included short–range, long–range, and ultra–long–range laser–guided explosives, precision–targeted annihilation devices, and devastating super–blast charges.

The other commanders echoed his sentiment, saluting Robin in unison, their voices brimming with respect. “Thank you, Commander–in–Chief Ramsey!”

“Yes, sir!” the soldiers chorused, their voices ringing with renewed resolve. 

Simmond stepped forward. “Commander–in–chief Ramsey, we need to activate the emergency response protocol immediately and file a formal complaint to the Thalrex Order Military Command Center about the realm master’s violations!” 

Robin shook his head. “I never file complaints. I only kill. 

“If we cannot coexist in the Mystic Realm, then it is a fight to the death.” 

Simmond froze, a chill running down his spine. He stared at the young commander in front of him, feeling the deadly aura emanating from him. 

This was an aura of someone who feared no powerful opponent. 

Robin scanned the room, eyeing each commander before speaking again. 

“A fierce battle is inevitable, and the outcome is uncertain. 

“Everyone, if you wish to withdraw now, you may apply. I will activate the emergency response protocol and open an evacuation route out of the L1 Mystic Realm. 

“I’ll give you ten seconds to decide. After that, there will be no more chances.” 

Ten seconds of silence passed, and not a single person spoke up to withdraw. 

Robin nodded. “Good. 

“Now, follow my orders. The construction of the base camp must be completed within the 

hour!” 

“Got it!” Simmond immediately led the elite Star Troopers to continue with the final stages of the construction. 

This time, the pace was much faster than before. 

Pierre pointed toward the dark territory where the beasts lingered and murmured, “Commander–in–chief Ramsey, the southwest base was destroyed, so the threat from those beasts should be gone. Why are they still lingering in place? 

“According to reason, those beasts would take advantage of the chaos and charge at us, but they haven’t. They’re not retreating, nor are they attacking. Why?”
