Everyone fell silent as they watched Reynold and his team, a ragtag group looking utterly disheveled, make their way through the camp. 

Alexander walked over to Reynold, lifting the torn collar of his uniform in disdain. 

“Reynold, did you and Mona, that troublesome woman, take a nap before you finally made it out of the camp?” he asked, his tone dripping with sarcasm. 

“Did you not hear Commander–in–chief Ramsey’s orders?” Alexander continued. “I’m right by his side, and I heard it loud and clear. 

“The command was issued two minutes before the base you built was blown to pieces. 

“You had plenty of time to escape. 

“That laser–targeted shotgun explosion has near–perfect accuracy. The blast radius was only 15 feet outside the targeted area. 

“By all logic, you should’ve already been out of the danger zone. 

“I can’t understand it, though–how did Mona end up getting caught? 

“Did she go back and hand herself over, or what?” 

Reynold’s face turned pale. “I was planning to sleep with Mona … 

He suddenly realized what he had said. 

“Uh… I didn’t mean it like that. I meant, we were just about to rest up with our two teams, waiting for further orders. 

“When Commander–in–chief Ramsey’s orders came in, we evacuated immediately, but two members of Poison Poppy Special Forces were too slow, and they were killed on the spot. That’s why Mona had to go back…” 

Alexander impatiently shook his head, cutting Reynold off. “She got caught, fine. Does that mean we should risk our lives to save her?” 

The Poison Poppy elites were seething with anger, but Alexander raised a hand to calm them. 

“Hold on. Let me finish,” he said. “After what just happened, it should be clear to you all. Garth is abusing his power–he’s obviously trying to wipe us out. 

“Since we entered the L1 Mystic Realm, he is completely ignoring us.

“According to War Games Division regulations, Garth should’ve brought Commander–in–chief Ramsey straight into the castle. 

“But look at the situation now. 

“The Star Troopers‘ unit number just went up, and they were immediately wiped off the map. 

“He’s trying to destroy us, and it’s obvious!” 

“How did this happen?” Reynold asked, confused. “Aren’t we on the same side? How could the realm master target his own people like this? And why would he act so fast? This doesn’t make any sense!” 

“It doesn’t make sense? Haha… “Alexander laughed bitterly. “When power runs wild, logic goes out the window! 

“Twenty–three years ago, Garth was granted the role of realm master in the Mystic Realm, and that is when his descent into power worship began. 

“Things here are probably unknown to the Military Command Center of Thalrex Order’s Advanced Science Department. 

“As of now, there’s no way to confirm that Garth used deadly weapons to hunt us down. 

“How are we supposed to save ourselves now? 

“Once Garth accuses us of trying to challenge his authority, the Star Troopers will be disqualified from this competition. 

“We might even be listed as dangerous individuals by the Thalrex Order’s Military Command Center, with a lifetime sentence on Earth. 

Pierre shook his head. “This realm master is incredibly cunning. 

“Before entering the Mystic Realm, I went through the information on the realm masters. 

“They say that when the Mystic Realm master was chosen, there were almost ten thousand candidates from all over the world. They narrowed it down to a thousand and observed them for five years before selecting Garth. 

“The criteria for being chosen were clear: decisive leadership, unshakable loyalty to Earth, and a commitment to the people’s welfare. 

“But after entering the Mystic Realm today, I’m not seeing any of that ‘good guy‘ side of him! 

“So what does this mean? It means the guy is a wolf in sheep’s clothing!” 

Robin raised his hand to silence Alexander, then pointed at Reynold. “Why didn’t Mona make it out with you?”

Reynold shook his head helplessly. “At first, when we were still in the base, Mona urged me to leave quickly. 

“If you hadn’t informed us in time, we would’ve already been blown to pieces by those b*stards in the realm master’s camp.” 

“Tell me, why?” Robin pressed, cutting him off and checking the time, urgency in his voice. 

“I had just left the base with Mona when the explosion went off behind us,” Reynold said, his voice grim. 

“Two of Poison Poppy Special Forces‘ elite operatives were killed on the spot, blown apart while packing up their gear. 

“Mona wanted to charge back and fight, but the light weapons we had on us were no match for the LI Mystic Realm master’s guards. 

“So, Mona quietly slipped back into the ruins, scavenged a piece of the laser scatter pellets from Shadow Castle’s guards, the ones who’d bombed our base, with the plan to bring it back to file a complaint with the Thalrex Order Military Command Center. 

“She was going to report that the realm master’s side was using prohibited weapons to attack us Star Troopers. 

“Obviously, this was a violation! No, it’s an act of betrayal against the Thalrex Order! 

“They’ve forgotten all about the original mission, the purpose they had to protect Earth’s people, as soon as they gained power by becoming the realm master! 

“These b*stards have shown their true colors, revealing themselves as nothing more than 

animals! 

“I saw Mona enter the ruins, pick up those leftover pellets, and then get arrested by the guards at the southwest gate of Shadow Castle! 

“Commander–in–chief Ramsey, Garth has already betrayed the Thalrex Order! He’s betrayed the interests of all the people of Earth! 

“We have to rescue Mona, retrieve the laser–targeting scatter pellets she picked up, and file a complaint with the Thalrex Order’s Military Command Center-”
