Every member of the Star Troopers raised their weapons, pointing them at the approaching Crimson Wolf. 

Though they knew that even emptying their magazines of high–explosive rounds would not be enough to take down this terrifying giant beast, it was the only thing they could do. 

The elite soldiers who made up the various teams capable of entering the L1 Mystic Realm were some of the best warriors in the world. 

Faced with such a powerful enemy, these top–tier soldiers were fueled by their indomitable spirit. They would rather die fighting than ever compromise. 

The Crimson Wolf, walking toward them with blood–red fur that glowed ominously in the blinding sunlight, sent a chill down their spines. 

Robin, too, reached for the dagger at his waist. 

He knew this battle would leave no room for hesitation. Once the fight began, they had to take down the Crimson Wolf immediately to strike fear into the beast king, Skydevourer. 

If they failed, the consequences would be catastrophic. 

Skydevourer had sent the Crimson Wolf as a test, not intending to engage Star Troopers in full combat, but rather to gauge their true strength. 

If the beast king sensed that Star Troopers lacked the firepower to crush them, it wouldn’t take long before he commanded all the beasts to attack. 

If that happened, they would be in deep trouble. 

As the Crimson Wolf neared, the atmosphere in the northwest corner of the Dark Woods became increasingly tense. 

Before Robin could make a move to strike, Alexander drew his general’s blade and, with a swift leap, charged directly at the Crimson Wolf. 

Before he could even take his fighting stance, the Crimson Wolf, like a flash of lightning, kicked up a cloud of dust and opened its massive jaws. In an instant, it clamped down on Alexander with terrifying force. 

The Crimson Wolf, holding Alexander in its mouth, shook him like a ragdoll, parading its victory before Star Troopers. 

Alexander, in shock and horror, sank into despair. 

The wolf’s sharp fangs had already punctured deep into his flesh. Death was closing in on him 

with every passing millisecond

Instinctively, Alexander’s eyes sought out Robin, standing a dozen feet away. Only this legendary Eastern man could save him now.

For a brief moment, a flicker of hope ignited within Alexander, only to be swiftly extinguished. 

This monstrous beast, with its raw, primal strength, was more than capable of wiping out all the elite soldiers of Star Troopers on its own. 

How could Robin, no matter how powerful, possibly have the means to save his life? 

In that instant, Alexander’s hope shattered. 

Suddenly, a piercing dragon’s roar echoed through the air. 

Along with the roar came a flash of golden light. 

Robin’s dragon dagger had already slashed across the Crimson Wolf’s throat. 

Thwack! 

The Crimson Wolf’s neck erupted with a fountain of scalding blood, splashing over Alexander and instantly staining him red. 

The pressure from the wolf’s fangs ceased immediately. 

The beast stared at Robin in shock, disbelief written all over its face. 

How could such a thin, unassuming man have possibly killed it? 

The Crimson Wolf’s fangs lost their grip, and its mouth slackened. With a heavy thud, Alexander fell to the ground. 

Looking up at Robin, who was standing so close, Alexander weakly asked, “Commander–in- chief Ramsey … am I dead?” 

Robin kicked him lightly in the rear, “Get up! You’re perfectly fine!” 

“What?!” 

Alexander instinctively glanced over at the Crimson Wolf’s fallen form. 

The massive creature, standing over 30 feet tall, had its neck severed cleanly by Robin’s dragon dagger. 

The 1,000 monstrous beasts in front of the dark woods froze in place, stunned and unable to comprehend what had just happened. 

They never expected that a man with a slender frame, wielding an unremarkable short blade, could so easily end the life of the Crimson Wolf.

All 1,000 hulking beasts turned their gaze toward Skydevourer, the beast king, who suddenly rose to his feet. 

The air around him seemed to darken, a storm building as the tension in the atmosphere thickened. 

The scene became suffocating, and not a single soul dared to take another step forward. 

In an instant, a golden dragon spiraled through the Mystic Realm, its shimmering form weaving through the air like an angry whirlwind. 

Every beast watched in awe as the golden creature soared above them, their eyes wide with shock and fear. 

Then, the Golden Dragon opened its jaws, and a beam of blood–bright and gleaming–shot into the air from the neck of the fallen Crimson Wolf. 

The blood was rapidly pulled toward the dragon, vanishing in a flash as the beast feasted on its 

power. 

The scene left the Star Troopers‘ elite completely speechless, unable to comprehend what they had just witnessed. 

“Wh–what is this thing?” Pierre and Alexander were both struck with terror, their skin crawling with unease. 

They had heard legends, stories whispered in the corners of the world about an ancient artifact with the terrifying power to drain the blood of even the most powerful of warriors. 

Could this be the same artifact–the dragon dagger–that Commander–in–chief Ramsey is holding in his hand? 

Pierre and Alexander dared not dwell further on the thought. 

The terrifying legend was one they dared not fully understand. 

In less than a minute, the massive Crimson Wolf’s body was reduced to a dry, leaf–like husk, its flesh and blood entirely consumed. 

As the wind swept through the desolate space, the lifeless form of the beast scattered like dust, its very essence eroded by the cruel forces at play. 

The Skydevourer did not dare to make a move. 

Startled by the terrifying spectacle, it paused, momentarily stunned by the show of power.
