To Robin, the Emberleaf Fans were no coincidence. 

The overall design of the L1 Mystic Realm had been created by the Curnows couple. 

Many of the advanced weapons inside the Mystic Realm were also products of their team’s work.

Robin had already carefully examined both the Emberleaf Fans and their bronze box, but he had found nothing unusual–no symbols, no hidden compartments, nothing that stood out. 

Time was running out, and Robin couldn’t afford to waste any more thought on this. 

Catherine, Maverick, and Mona were still in the hands of the Mystic Realm master, Garth. 

If they didn’t reach Shadow Castle soon to negotiate with Garth’s men, those three would likely meet a grim fate. 

For now, he needed to stall for time, trying to get his hands on the code to unlock the forbidden zone. 

Once that was done, this Mystic Realm island would be under his control. 

“Pierre, immediately contact Waldo, who’s guarding the southwest of the Shadow Castle. I’m heading over there now!” Robin ordered, his voice sharp. 

“Tell them I demand to see Garth in person! And make sure Mona and the other two Star Troopers are safe. No harm should come to them. 

“Otherwise, I’ll use extreme measures and blow up 

Shadow Castle!” 

Pierre, Alexander, and the four teams of elite troops were stunned into silence. 

“Commander–in–chief Ramsey, d–did I hear that right?” Pierre asked, bewildered. “Are we really going to blow up Shadow Castle?” 

Robin nodded firmly. “Of course!” 

“But … how are we supposed to blow it up?” Pierre and the others were still confused. 

When they entered the Mystic Realm, the committee had only allowed them to bring high- explosive rifles with them. 

On Earth, these rifles were among the deadliest weapons. 

At a range of 3,000 feet, a single shot could create a hole the size of a bowl in the target. 

At 1,500 feet, a headshot would obliterate the target completely, leaving no trace.

Setting aside whether they even had the right kind of explosives, it was important to note that the castle’s counter–explosive interception and defense systems were invulnerable. 

With the equipment and firepower of the Star Troopers, facing off against Shadow Castle’s advanced weaponry seemed almost laughable. 

Pierre swallowed hard. “Commander–in–chief Ramsey, are you suggesting we use the beasts from the Dark Woods to threaten Garth, the realm master?” 

Robin gave a cold smile. “You really think those beasts could stand up to the kinds of superweapons Garth has at his disposal?” 

He shook his head, letting out a bitter laugh. “Not a chance.” 

“Then why did Garth leave those beasts alive?” Alexander asked, confused. 

Robin smirked lightly. “To deal with extraterrestrials, of course.” 

He continued, his voice laced with disdain, “Garth has always been playing coy with the aliens. He kept those beasts as leverage, to use them as a threat if they came. If not, he’d have wiped them all out by now.” 

Pierre was stunned, the truth dawning on him. It made sense. 

Not long ago, Garth had obliterated the base Reynolds and Mona had built in an instant, reducing it to rubble. 

And now, with a mere Dark Woods at his disposal, Garth could easily destroy it with one or two laser–guided grenades. 

The elites around them were wide–eyed, the implications sinking in. 

Pierre had wanted to ask Robin if they really had the weapons to level Shadow Castle, but it seemed like a pointless question now. 

The answer was clearly no. 

In Pierre’s mind, Robin was just playing for time, throwing out empty threats to rattle their 

opponents. 

If he had access to those superweapons, why bother with all these theatrics? Why not just destroy Shadow Castle in one fell swoop? 

The truth was clear–the superweapons Garth controlled rendered everything else
