Simone’s voice, though not loud, shattered the calm of the Island Restaurant, drawing attention with its sharp tone. 

Bored tourists, who had been minding their own business, started to take notice of her incessant chatter about the arranged marriage. 

Their eyes quickly shifted to the striking man sitting across from her. He seemed to command the room without even trying–with a face that could only be described as chiseled, a powerful yet elegant build, and an undeniable aura of sophistication that made him seem otherworldly. 

His eyes, deep and magnetic, seemed to contain the secrets of the cosmos–the stars, the oceans, and even the very heavens themselves. He wasn’t just any man; he exuded an almost divine presence, as if he were a celestial being, one that even the gods themselves might bow down to. 

So how could this woman, sitting before him, speak so dismissively? To treat such a captivating man as if he were nothing but a naive fool, chasing unattainable dreams? If anyone was out of place here, it was her. 

Several powerful and wealthy women in the restaurant exchanged looks, clearly ready to act. 

They were waiting for Simone to make another misstep, and if she did, they would use their influence to ensure she paid for it. 

“You’ve got the wrong person,” Robin finally said, his eyes lifting from his phone to address her. 

“Are you actually brushing me off?” Simone froze, caught off guard by his indifferent tone. 

She had expected him to jump up, clear the table, and eagerly stand at her side, ready to comply with her every whim. But that’s not what was happening. 

Her temper flared. Gripping her water glass, she slammed it onto the table, causing it to rattle violently. 

Robin raised an eyebrow. “I’ll say it one more time. You’ve mistaken me for someone else. Leave. Now.” 

Simone narrowed her eyes, sizing him up before a sly smile spread across her face. “Haha. I see. You’re embarrassed now, aren’t you? Or is it my beauty and my family background that has you tongue–tied? 

“My father mentioned you had some accomplishments from your time at Hawklore,” she continued, leaning in with a playful gleam in her eyes. “Although your background might not be the most prestigious, my father doesn’t mind that.” 

She leaned even closer. “He says you’re talented, and that you’ve gained recognition from the Hawklore’s royal family. That’s why I’m here–to see if what they say is true. 

“If you can follow the Morales family’s lead and treat me like a queen, maybe I’ll consider getting to know you.” 

She paused for effect, her eyes glinting with mischief. Money won’t be an issue. My father has been in powerful positions for years. Our family’s wealth is beyond measure. To put it simply, our overseas accounts alone are in the 11–figure range. 

“Oh!” she added, kicking her shoe under the table toward him. “My shoe fell off. How about you get on your knees and put it back on for me? Let’s see if you can impress me with that.

Robin glanced at the shoe, then back at her. Without a word, he motioned for a waiter. “Get this delusional woman out of here.” 

Within moments, the restaurant staff, accompanied by two security guards, arrived. “Miss, please, keep the noise down and respect the other guests.” 

Annoyed, Simone waved them off. “If my father hears about this, you’ll all be out of jobs. Don’t think you’re safe just because you’re not in my country.” 

Her eyes gleamed with malice. “I know plenty of ways to handle people like you. Maybe tomorrow, the whole world will read about your scandal–maybe something about drugs, or a hotel mishap

Two of the security guards stepped forward, trying to defuse the situation. “Miss, please lower your voice.” 

“Shut up!” Simone snapped. “Do you really think I can’t buy this entire place with a single phone call? You all will be out of work!” 

She turned her attention back to Robin, her voice dripping with scorn. “Get down on your knees and put my shoe on. Otherwise, tomorrow, your career will be over.” 

The security guards moved in, prepared to act. “Miss, please leave immediately.” 

At that moment, bodyguards from the Morales family entered, pushing the restaurant staff aside. 

Simone pointed toward the bodyguards, her voice cold and commanding. “Buy this restaurant right now. Fire these useless people.” 

“Who’s the one talking about buying my restaurant?” a calm voice called from the doorway. Luella entered, her gaze coolly assessing Simone. “Oh? You’ve got the money to back up those words? Show me the cash, and it’s yours.” 

Simone gave her a dismissive look, taking in her modest appearance. “You own this place? Fine. How much?” 

Luella’s lips curled into a faint smile. “One trillion dollars. Pay up, and you can have it. You can fire anyone you want.” 

“One trillion?” Simone’s eyes widened in disbelief. “You’ve got to be kidding.” 

Luella scoffed. “Don’t come here throwing around your weight if you can’t back it up with actual money. If Mr. Ramsey were like you, he’d already own the world. 

Simone opened her mouth, ready to retaliate, but the moment she saw ten well–built bodyguards, armed and poised to strike, her confidence faltered. 

They were on a private island in international waters, far beyond Draconia’s reach. These men could end –her life in seconds without consequence. 

Frozen in place, Simone glared at Robin. “You’ve wasted my time, and now I’m beyond angry!” she shouted. 

“Put my shoes on and apologize, or I’ll make sure my father hears about today!” 

Robin raised an eyebrow lazily. “You’ve got the wrong person. Ask your dad who I really am when you get home.
