Mona, from the Poison Poppy Special Forces, watched Simone storm away with a mix of disbelief and curiosity. “So, this is what the children of high–ranking officials are like?” she muttered, her brow furrowed. 

“Where we come from, Commander–in–chief Ramsey commands such respect that even the King bows to him. All high–ranking officials treat him as royalty.” 

“The likes of Commander–in–chief Ramsey, who dedicate themselves to the well–being of the people, deserve nothing less than the utmost respect, even from the King. 

Briar, the commander of the Camel Squad, shrugged casually. “That’s not how things work where I’m from. The officials there all have noble titles. They stand above the common folk.” 

Mona sneered at him. “In a civilized society, power comes from the people, and that’s why all officials should serve them and even flatter them. None of their descendants would dare to act so ridiculously in public. If the children of officials behaved like this back where I came from, their parents would face an immediate investigation.” 

Simmond, from the King Hawk Special Forces, joined in with a shrug. “That’s exactly how it should be. Public officials are paid with taxpayer money to serve the people, not rule over them. 

“They should be accountable to the people who fund them with their taxes. Public servants should care about their image.” 

Reynold from Centraline Special Forces chimed in, his hand lightly pressing against his bruised nose. “Very true. This is the essence of civilization.” 

“Hahaha!” Mona suddenly burst out laughing. “Reynold with your bruised face, it seems like you think you understand sociology. Do you even know what true civilization is?” she teased. 

Reynold smirked. “Of course I do! A Draconian playwright once said, ‘Civilization is when the weak aren’t afraid, the strong aren’t arrogant, power isn’t showy, society is fair, wrongdoers are punished, the good live in peace, and all people respect each other. A society of peace, equality, and harmony!” 

Briar’s eyes lit up. “Yes! I’ve never heard civilization described like that before.” 

Simmond patted him on the back. “One day, that kind of society will exist. It’s a dream for all of humanity. 

“Sadly, that dream is hard to achieve. As long as people with selfish motives and power–hungry mindsets- exist, it will never happen. 

“That’s why we need people like us and Commander–in–Chief Ramsey.” Ced, from the Maple Special Forces, grinned, glancing at Simone, who was still furious.

fast!” Alexander chuckled. “We’re just a sharp tool, and it’s the one who holds it who decides how 

it’s used.” 

Pierre laughed. “What are you all talking about? You’re starting to sound like philosophers. 

“As for Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, there’s no need to worry.” Pierre said, his voice cam. “I can guarantee you that Simone will end her father’s high–ranking career. 

“Everyone knows that in their country, it’s all about serving the people. Any official corruption is punished

Just as she finished speaking, the warm glow of the setting sun in the hotel lobby faded, casting a chilly silence over the room. 

“Someone should turn on the lights,” Simmond said, breaking the silence. He waved to the receptionist before turning back to the group. “Alright, everyone, let’s head back and get some rest. We’ve got the LI Mystic Realm Semifinals tomorrow.” 

On the ninth floor of the Duskhaven Grand Hotel, the Dragon Soul Special Forces were staying. 

Robin’s suite, located at the farthest end of the hall, was at the highest level of security. 

As soon as Robin stepped out of the elevator, Simone followed closely behind. 

“Stop right there!” Simone shouted. “You can’t just walk in here!” 

Robin ignored her and continued toward his room. 

“Why aren’t you stopping him?” Simone snapped at the two guards standing nearby. 

Before the guards could answer, Simone barged in after him. 

When she saw Robin enter the Dragon Soul commander–in–chief’s suite, she screamed, pounding on the door. “Get out here! Do you know who’s staying in here?” 

The guards quickly stepped forward to stop her. “Ms. Morales, this is the room for General Ramsey, Commander–in–Chief of the Dragon Soul Special Forces. Please lower your voice. If you disturb the commander’s rest, there will be consequences.” 

“But someone just went in!” Simone shouted, pointing angrily at the door. “You saw it and did nothing! Do you want me to report you to a military court? 

“Open the door and arrest whoever entered!” she demanded. 

The guards remained firm. “That’s not possible. The Dragon Soul commander–in–chief’s suite has extra- security, and no one can enter or leave without authorization. 

“Ms. Morales, please don’t make things difficult for us. If you do, it will affect both you and your father.” 

Simone pushed past the guards. “Ha! What do I care? My father is the highest–ranking official here! Who should I be afraid of? If you refuse to do your jobs, I’ll have my father take care of you!” 

Simone kicked the door, shouting, “You b*stard! Get out here!” 

The door swung open, and Robin stepped out, looking at Simone with cold indifference. “What do you want?” 

Simone pointed at the guards. “You go get him! This man harassed me outside earlier at the Island Restaurant, and now he’s followed me here!” 

One of the guards immediately spoke up. Ms. Morales please don’t make false accusations. This is General Ramsev. Commander–in–Chief of the Dragon Soul Special Forces
