The guys of Beverly Hills had a common secret: Jax Landry, the golden boy,
adored his fiancée, but he had a penchant for cheating. The game would never be
too exciting for his blood, but there was one rule: Never tell his fiancée, Serenity
Hayes.
Everyone knew Serenity had practically saved his life. To make her his fianc
ée, he broke four of his ribs and lost massive blood. He would go mad even if she
just disappeared for an hour.
But this time things were different. Emboldened by Jax’s affection and
generosity, a woman pushed the boundaries, flaunting right in Serenity’s face.
She sent Serenity 72 photos of Jax and her in bed, each with a different position
and a used condom. Then, the message came: Ms. Hayes, did Jax ever do this with
you? Too bad you’re too delicate to know how wild he is in bed. Guess I’ll have to
take it for you.
At that moment, Serenity realized that the man who had only loved her had
slept with another woman. Tears streamed from her eyes until, red and sore,
they ran dry. Then, at dawn, she walked into the clinic.
“Jax is the Romeo of the 21st century! I heard he and Serenity grew up
together. He told her how he felt when he was 16, built her a castle when he
turned 20 and said she’d be his princess forever. When she was 24, she fell off a
cliff. He used up almost all his blood to give her a transfusion! He said Serenity
was his life, and if she died, he’d die too.”
Serenity orced a bitter smile. People wouldn’t believe that the man who
loved her so fiercely had been secretly dating an actress. All those nights he
claimed to be working late was spent with her.
