Before Rylee could reach the woman, Jax grabbed her hand, throwing her

back against the wall, his grip tightening around her throat.

“Rylee, if you hurt her again, you won’t see another sunrise!”

He ignored Rylee and gently escorted the woman into the house. Rylee

collapsed to the floor, gasping for air. She’d almost been choked to death! Terror

overwhelmed her. She tried to flee, but a sharp pain shot through her lower
