The Further Alpha's Shy Girl novel Chapter 1

Matthew's P.O.V

The moment I walked into my family home I knew it, she was here, I could smell her scent, and it made me shiver. I have never felt like this before, and I instantly knew...my mate is in the house!

My father came out of the living room and smiled when he saw me standing at the door.

"Hi son, did you have a nice day in school? Why are you just standing there? Come in and close the door"

He smiled, I looked at him confused. I hadn't heard a word he had just said, I was busy looking for my mate, my other half. I just stared at him and growled.

"Who is here? Who is she with?"

That took him by surprise, and he looked at me with his Alpha look.

"How did you know we have a guest?"

I looked at my dad, and without any hesitation I told him.

"Because she is my mate!"

I didn't hear my father's answer to my statement, instead I heard a woman's giggles from upstairs, I growled and ran to where the sound came from, and ended up in my brothers room. Quickly I entered, and saw her, she was breathtaking, pale white skin, long red hair, and when she looked up, surprised by me showing up like that, I noticed her eyes, they were green, but not just the normal green, no, hers were pop out green, and looked like the leaves on the trees at the start of spring, she was stunning! Then I noticed, she was lying on the bed, beside my brother, and I couldn't hold back an angry growl. He has no right to be near MY mate and I hissed,

"MINE"

My brother Simon look at me white-eyed, and quickly got up when I started walking to him, but before I could do anything, my father held me back. I growled out loud and got free of my dad's Alpha-strength. Though this must have surprised him, because he then used his Alpha-voice and said,

"Matthew retain yourself...you brother has done nothing wrong, and you will end up scaring her, if you don't back down this instant."

I growled and hissed, and looked furiously at my dad, but his calm face made me calm down, a little. I knew he was right about scaring her; she was already looking at me with caution. So I took a deep breath, and tried to relax, but as soon as I looked at my brother again I let out an animalistic growl.

"MINE!!"

I only relaxed when my brother nodded, and quickly said.

"I didn't know, we weren't doing anything we were just looking at a school project we have to make together."

This takes me by surprise. If she goes at our school, then why haven't I smelt her before?

My dad who was able to read my thoughts because of his Alpha sense, answered.

"She is a human. It's possible that her scent isn't as strong as ours, but I have to admit, I'm a bit confused myself, that your mate is human. It's not unusual that a pack member's mate is human, but as Alpha you are extremely possessive and protective over your mate. A she-wolf understands that and knows our behavior, but a human wouldn't. I have never heard about any Luna being human before,"

he said with a confused look on his face.

"I don't care what's normal, she is going to be the first human as a packs Luna, she is mine and I WILL CLAIM her," I promised.

Matthew's P.O.V

Ever since I got to the school I've been watching the hall, every single classroom, but no, I could not find my tiny mate! She is supposed to be in school. She's new, and won't just drop her class. I knew she was there, the moment I entered the building, I could sense her, and I could smell her scent, but I couldn't find her. Even when I tried to follow her smell, it would suddenly disappear, and that was weird. I am better at tracking then even my Alpha father, but my own mate I couldn't find, WHATS UP WITH THAT?! I smacked one of the lockers, and it flew open.

Simon came over to me.

"Hey bro, you have to relax, you can't go around smashing stuff here at the school; they don't know about us, and they are not supposed to. We will find Clarina, but you have to relax, you can't go near her in this mood, so calm dawn"
