I could feel how I blushed, and I looked away from him and just shook my head. I couldn't bring myself to tell him. And if Matthew does not want him to know, then it's clear he doesn't want people knowing about it. But Simon says that he looks heartbroken. I can't quite understand unless he actually feel that I took advantage of him. He was probably drunk, and the next morning certainly felt disgust at what we had done during the night. I could feel the tears gather in my eyes so I closed them quickly to prevent the outbreak. Wouldn't have Simon saw me cry over it.

As if Simon was aware that I couldn't bear to talk about it, he shrugged before he began to talk about something else.

After the period I went with Simon's arm around my shoulder toward the parking lot. Simon grinned.

"It's fucking good that I have you as a partner, this is the first time I've ever gotten an A+ in science, I stick to you, then perhaps my parents will be happy with my next character sheet."

I look up at him smiling, and was about to say something as we walked around the corner. But it was only a "Humfp" sound there escape, I went straight into one, and ended up on my butt on the floor. I looked up, and saw Matthew who quickly squatting down, to help me gather my things together, he looked at me.

"I'm really sorry Clarina, it seems like the only thing I do, is to hurt you."

He said quietly before he, like a gentleman, took my hand to pull me up off the floor. I just stared confused at him, surprised at what he had said, that he hurt me?! What, but it was me who...! My thoughts were interrupted when Simon said.

"Bullshit Matthew, I'm sure that whatever you have done it can't possibly have hurt her as much as you think. You always think that things are worse than they are ... Maybe we should talk about it over dinner, Clarina, can come to our house and eat dinner tonight? "

He said, looking questioningly back and forth between me and Matthew, I get eye contact with Matthew, and his eyes lit up a little, of whatever it was he saw in my eyes.

"You wouldn't mind? Will you come to my house? "

Matthew asked and smiled gently at me. Before I got the answer my mobile rang. I looked apologetically at the two brothers before I took it, and heard my mother's voice.

"Clarina sweetheart I'm calling to tell you that we have been invited at dinner at Benjamin's boss tonight, and he'd like to meet Benjamin's family, can you come straight home? we leave around 5 O'clock"

I could feel how the disappointment shot through me, I would have liked to been with Matthew and Simon today, perhaps they didn't hate me as much as I had thought. I looked at them regretful, before I said to my mother.

"Yes, I'll come straight home, I'm actually heading out to Gavin, I will probably be at home in 15 minutes."

I went cursing down the hall. Of course she wouldn't come to my home, maybe if it had been only Simon, but apparently she had so much against me that she felt she had to lie about another appointment. I stopped when a hand lay on my shoulder, and I looked back at my brother who smiled at me.

"Relax brother, she was prevented today, but she'll come another day, I'm sure."

He smiled, I looked down on him annoyed.

"I am sure that she will. Once she is sure I'm not there. Why does it have to be this way, I always thought that when we find our mate, then it immediately would be mutual love. But it's more than evident that love is the last Clarina feel for me. "

I knew I sounded like a cry baby, but he was my brother, and I had to talk to someone about it, and who was better than my own brother. I was surprised when I saw that my breakouts irritated Simon. And make him lifted his hands resigned, while he said.

"For God's sake, what is it with you two. You are the perfect couple, and you are both so attentive to each other that it is quite eerie, yet you both believe that the other one more or less hate you. How can two people be so blind? For God's sake Matthew, tell me what happened at the party, why did you get this view of the other one hates you? "
