I smile against his chest, he was so overprotective but I liked it. To show that I really wanted this to work, I slowly turned toward the group of people again, still in Matthews arms, and smiled gently to them.

I get eye contact with Lucas, who is smiling at me with satisfaction, like he is pleased by my actions.

Then I saw Emily who comes running at the hallway before she with a big smile embraces me.

She smiled a little crooked , and I could just smile back , because she was right , I would have thought she was insane if she had begun to talk about mates back then, but it still confused me that she wasn't with him.
