He said coldly, and I stared confused up him, and saw him glaring at Simon, who just smiled wryly back to him.
"Calm down big guy, I'm not interested in Clarina that way; she's not my type of woman."
I heard a growl from Ronald's throat, and looked surprised at him, and discovered only now that he starring at Simon, without blinking. I smiled at him.
"Simon, I don't think you've met Ronald, Ronald this is Simon, Matthews brother and one of my best friends."
I Smiled, Simon held out his hand, and after a short hesitation Ronald took it and pressed it, still with his eyes fixed on Simon, I look confused at him, but then I saw how Simons eyes popped opened before he tore his hand away, and said.
"You all have to excuse me."
Before he turned his back on us and quickly disappeared into the house. I looked surprised after him before I looked back at Ronald, who with a hurt and pained expression stared at Simon's back, and I realized Simon was Ronald's mate, and he had just walked away from him. Gently, I put a hand on Ronalds shoulder before I placed myself on the toe, and whispered in his ear.
"I am sure that he will come to his senses, just give him some time, it's a little overwhelming when your mate suddenly is right in front of you."
Ronald blinked confused, before he looked down at me and quietly asked.
"How on earth do you know...? He obviously doesn't want anyone to know that his mate is a guy, so please keep it to yourself."
He pleaded. And made it clear that it was the ending of the conversation. I look sadly at him, but respected his decision, so I went back to Matthew again, and took the hand he held out to me. Together we went into the living room of the pack house where most of the pack was sitting, and I saw a lot of relief smiles spread across the faces that looked at us, and I grinned back at them. After a moment, Matthew raised his hand for silence, and he look with a smile at his pack members.
"I and my mate are very grateful for the high risk you all exposed yourselves to, to save us from the situation we were in, I'm really grateful and wants to express my gratitude to all of you who have been involved to make sure that my mate and I are now in safety, I don't even know how to thank you for saving my mate, I couldn't imagine living without her. The doctor have told me that those who were injured during the fight, all are at our hospital, and it's with greate pleasure that I can say that no one is in serious danger, and they have all been treated for their injuries and will soon be as good as new again."
He said, and it was clear that he was relieved that no one was seriously injured. After everyone expressing their relief that everybody was safe, Matthew smiled down at me, when I was trying to hide a yawn behind my hand.
"Yes it would be a lot better that you didn't have anything on, than that I appeared with a top that was slightly torn."
Matthew smiled back at me before he pulled me to him.
"Yes it would have been better, all my pack members have seen me without a shirt, but I don't want them to see anything of you, that's only intended for me to see."
He said, and I could feel I blushed. Matthew smiled down at me and gave me a hug before he again took my hand and led me over to his closet, which he opened, and after a moment of searching, he found a T-shirt that he pulled out and handed to me.
"You can wear this; I like the idea of you with my clothes on."
He said gently and stroked my cheek as he looked me in the eyes. I nodded slowly and took the T-shirt, and walked towards the bathroom door, where I quickly took a bath before I took the borrowed t-shirt on, but I didn't wanted to take my panties back on, so slowly I opened the door a crack and looked into the room where Matthew was lying on the chaise longue, he raised his head and smiled at me when he realized I was there.
