Of the Swnovels stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is The Great Medical Saint (Matthew). The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 233. Let's read the author's The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) Swnovels story right here.
Matthew coldly remarked, "When you wanted to kill my entire family, you weren't saying that. Since you're already at death's door, shut up."
William stared at Matthew in shock. He was surprised that someone so young could be ruthless and decisive. Thinking of his son, William clung to his last hope for survival.
"You better not kill me. It's not a price you can pay. Don't take the Smith family as any ordinary family. My son is married into a martial arts family, and he'll come after you."
The blade glinted before sinking into William's chest. The latter held his chest and looked at Ivy in horror.
Ivy scoffed. "Even if your son's a martial artist, he's nothing compared to Mr. Grant. He'd be lucky if he never crosses paths with Mr. Grant."
William fell to the ground with regret in his eyes. He wanted to say something, but nothing came out of his mouth.
Seeing how fast Ivy dealt with everything, Matthew was pleasantly surprised. At first, Matthew was reluctant to have a female assistant, but her impressive skills changed his mind.
"From now on, you'll work with me."
Ivy breathed heavily, her voluptuous chest heaving up and down. Upon hearing Matthew's words, Ivy knew she had passed the test. Her cold, beautiful face lit up with joy.
"I pledge my unwavering loyalty to you, sir."
Matthew furrowed his brows at being called sir. He had corrected Ivy once before, but she didn't change how she addressed him. People who didn't know might assume he had a weird kink.
"Just call me Mr. Grant."
Ivy replied in a sweet voice, "Okay, Mr. Grant."
Matthew continued to frown. Ivy's tone sounded like a secretary's. The boss-secretary dynamic could get his imagination going, but he didn't have time to dwell on that now.
"I'll take my parents back home. You need to take care of the scene. If it's too much hassle, douse the place with gasoline and set it ablaze."
Ivy smiled. "Mr. Mullins' cleaning crew will be here soon."
Matthew was taken aback when he heard that Ansel had sent his men to help. He suddenly felt that having a bunch of mysterious subordinates was not bad.
Ivy was visibly annoyed as she quietly trailed behind Matthew's car. Eventually, she couldn't stand it anymore and drove next to him.
Matthew didn't see this coming. Since Ivy drew too much attention, it'd be troublesome to enter the village.
"You're on your own for now, Ivy. I'm heading back home. Hit me up if you need to talk."
After saying that, Matthew veered onto a different road. Noticing Matthew's displeasure, Ivy got fed up with the guys trailing behind and sped off. The motorcycle raced away, leaving a dark shadow in its wake.
The car trailing behind Ivy tried to catch up, but she had already vanished from their sight.
…
Upon arriving home, Matthee woke Stanley and Lillian up. They scratched their head, trying to recall what had happened.
Stanely knitted his brows together and asked, "Can you explain what happened, Matt? We were in the yard when a bunch of guys came in and covered our mouths with towels. Then, we blacked out. What's going on?"
