Tracy fixed her gaze on Matthew, eager for his response. But after waiting for what felt like forever, he still didn't say a word, but his face had a funny look on it.

She pouted. "I want you to examine my health. Is that too much to ask?"

Matthew hesitated for a moment. Even though Tracy needed a man now, he couldn't just put it out here. It wasn't something that could be said openly.

After mulling it over, he decided to agree to her request first. "Yes, I do."

Upon finishing his sentence, Matthew realized he had said the wrong thing. Those words sounded like something from a TV show when a couple tied the knot. That was way too flirtatious.

Feeling awkward, he had no idea how to explain himself.

When Tracy heard those words, she blushed and glanced at Matthew from the corner of her eye. It felt like her eyes were saying, "If you're saying yes, what are you waiting for?"

Matthew checked his surroundings. They were at the entrance of Silvaris Pharmaceuticals with a few people passing by every now and then. This wasn't a place for health examination.

"Don't we need to find somewhere quiet?"

A quiet place? Many things suddenly popped into Tracy's mind, like a quiet space, a private room, and a double bed.

She pursed her lips. "Okay."

Matthew looked around at Silvaris Pharmaceuticals. He didn't have an office here and wasn't keen on asking anyone for one. He honestly couldn't find a suitable spot at the moment.

In the end, he thought of a solution when he spotted the car he drove there. He turned to Tracy and asked, "Do you see that car?"

Inside the car? Tracy bit her lower lip. After a moment of hesitation, she got into the car.

Tracy ended up in the back seat again, but this time it was just her and Matthew. Rachel was out of the picture.

Matthew got into the back seat, sitting right next to Tracy. After shutting the door, he reached out his hand. "Give me your hand."

Tracy zoned out for a moment and didn't catch what Matthew meant at first. Then she remembered the medical examination and quickly put her hand in his.

When her fingers made contact with his hand, she trembled slightly but held back from pulling away.

Matthew was caught off guard when Tracy slid her hand into his. Undoubtedly, her hand was gorgeous with long and delicate fingers. Her nails were adorned with shiny crystals, too.
