Tracy's hand felt soft and warm to the touch, making Matthew reluctant to let it go. Meanwhile, her actions only heightened his suspicion that she was craving a man's attention.

He swallowed hard. "I can check your pulse at your wrist. I don't need to feel your hand."

As he spoke, he reluctantly let go of her delicate hand and placed his fingers on her wrist. Tracy blushed even more. She had spaced out earlier and made a mistake.

With rosy cheeks, she changed the subject. "Am I in good health?"

Matthew carefully checked the pulse without saying a word. After a little while, he found the answer and said, "Your pulse is steady, but it's getting weaker in the left, middle, and right areas of your wrist."

Tracy was perplexed. "What does that mean?"

Matthew cleared his throat before replying, "Your period just ended four days ago."

Tracy looked surprised. His diagnosis was so on point that he could even tell the exact number of days. That was just amazing.

She subconsciously asked, "What else?"

Matthew casually added, "You also have a mild case of heat imbalance."

Feeling puzzled, Tracy tentatively asked, "If that's the case, does it mean I need to drink more water?"

Matthew shook his head. "It means your body is suffering from an imbalance of energy. To improve your health, you just need to restore that balance."

Tracy furrowed her brows. "How do I restore that balance? Can you explain it in simpler terms?"

Matthew chuckled. "Honestly, it's not a big deal. With heat imbalance, you just need to spend some intimate time with a man. That'll restore the imbalance, and you'll be fine."

"On the other hand, your heat syndrome makes your pulse weak and slow. You both have totally different kinds of pulse."

Tracy felt even more confused and didn't know what to believe. "So why is the treatment always about needing a man?"

Matthew flashed a wry smile. "In truth, this isn't an illness, but a state your body is in. After restoring the balance, your body will adjust to a better condition, and that's my point."

He was lost about why she wanted him to check her pulse. All he could do was to play along with his medical knowledge.
