The morning passed by quickly. Lorraine spent the entirety of it by the printer, printing documents for others. She was more than familiar with the job as this was what she did during her internship.

Sure enough, when it was almost noon, Hannah ordered her to buy food.

"Remember, get a salad for Mr. Joplin."

Lorraine was a little surprised. "Does Mr. Joplin eat out?"

"Mind your own business!" Hannah snapped at Lorraine.

When Lorraine returned with more than a dozen sets of meals, she saw Hannah standing by the entrance anxiously.

"What took you so long?" She snatched the meal boxes from Lorraine and left.

"It's barely noon."

How hungry was she?

Hannah knew that I didn't like the food in the company's cafeteria, so she deliberately got Lorraine to get me something else. She knew that I liked healthy foods.

"Enter."

When she heard my voice, she smiled and strutted over to me. "Mr. Joplin, I brought you lunch."

When I heard the clicking of the high heels, I immediately knew who it was.

"Didn't I tell you that there was no need?"

Hannah had been bringing lunch for me for the entire week, but I had never taken a single bite. I gave it all to Murphy. I had told her many times not to bring me food, yet she always bought lunch for all the others too, which made it seem like I was blowing things out of proportion.

"I bought this from the restaurant opposite. Have a taste."

"Just put it down. I'll eat it later." I was signing documents, and I planned to use the same tactic as I always did.
