Maeve bought a ticket and went in. Since she did not know wher Byron was, she could only walk around and try her luck. 

She didn’t notice the no–entry sign hanging at the top of the stairs and went straight upstairs. Sounds of small voices came from the corridor. 

“Mr. Mcdaniel, we’ve actually met before. Back then, I was still in high school and happened to meet you when I was visiting Kleymond University. At that time, you accidentally fainted in front of me due to low blood sugar…” 

Maeve slowed down. This voice sounded a little familiar.

She quickly continued, “You gave me 40 dollars back then. Including the ticket fee, it’s 50 dollars. I’ll return it to you now…” However, she did not think that Byron would really want it. 

With one hand in his pocket, Byron said coldly, “Just transfer the money.” 

Molly was speechless. 

She almost couldn’t remember this beautiful memory.

His gaze passed by Molly and landed on Maeve. 

Maeve vaguely heard their conversation. Initially, she did not intend to go over and wanted to leave. However, as soon as she moved, she was locked in by Byron. 

She pursed her red lips and walked towards him. She said in a muffled voice, “I heard that the scenery here is good, so I came to take a look. Can’t I?” 

Why does he smell like alcohol?‘ she wondered.

Byron’s thin lips twitched slightly as he stared at her with a deep gaze. 

Molly looked surprised. “Ms. Reese, did you hear… You misunderstood. Mr. Mcdaniel and I were just talking about work. It’s definitely not what you think.” 

Maeve thought, ‘I didn’t ask, right?‘ 

“This place is not for visit,” Byron said calmly, “If you’re done, go back early.” 

‘What does he mean? He kicks me out as soon as I arrive. Maeve insisted on going against him. “I’m not leaving. What can you do?” 

“Call security.” 

Molly was instantly delighted. She stood at the side and smiled silently. 

“What if I’m here for you?” Maeve looked straight at Byron and went straight to the point. “I want to talk to you about what happened this morning.”
