"No worries, I just bumped into the wall when I was walking," Sophia reassured her with a smile.

Theresa nodded, but still eyeing her forehead with concern.

"Does it hurt?" Theresa asked.

Sophia laughed and shook her head, "Nah, it doesn't hurt."

But the worry in Theresa's eyes didn't vanish. She leaned in, puckered up, and gently blew on her wound, "Blow on it, and the pain goes away."

Sophia was so touched by her little gesture, she couldn't help but hug her a little tighter.

"Thank you, sweetie."

Theresa blushed a bit from the praise, coyly snuggling into her embrace.

Sophia didn't hang around for long. After scarfing down something to eat and giving Susan a heads-up, she hopped in a cab to take Theresa and Grace back home.

With Kent around, it wasn't convenient for Susan to come join them.

Susan got the call from Sophia when she was leaving the hospital.

Kent was still concerned about Sophia's bump: "Shouldn't Ms. Yearwood get that checked out at the hospital?"

"She'll go if she's really feeling off, I guess."

That's all Susan could say; she was worried about Sophia too.

Kent glanced at her but kept mum.

He dropped her off at the parking lot of the mall where her car was, and after dropping her off, Kent sneakily made a call to Brandon.

"Mr. Crawley, I ran into Ms. Yearwood and Susan at the Zion City mall. They got hassled by Susan's brother, Ms. Yearwood got her hair yanked and head bashed against the wall, got a bit hurt, but she's refusing to go to the hospital. Maybe you wanna check on her."

Watching Sophia close the door, Theresa turned to Grace and said, "Grace, I wanna call Handsome Unkie."

Grace looked at her surprised, "What do you wanna call Handsome Unkie for?"

Theresa pouted, not wanting to spill the beans, just coquettishly shaking her hand, "Gimme your phone, please?"

Grace, worn down by her pleading, pulled out her phone and handed it over.

Theresa didn't know Brandon's number, stared at the phone puzzled for a while, then handed it back to Grace, "I can’t hear him."

"Of course, you can't. You gotta punch in Handsome Unkie's number."

As Grace spoke, she scrolled to find Brandon's number from the day before, "Here, Handsome Unkie's number."

Theresa looked at the digits in awe, her tiny finger hovering over them, pondering for a long time, and then with great care, she pressed down on the precious sequence of numbers.
