Brandon didn't give a hoot about the looks he was getting from everyone; after giving his instructions, he walked out with a poker face.

The office, which had been as quiet as a mouse, suddenly exploded into a flurry of activity, with everyone craning their necks to sneak a peek at the boss's daughter.

Brandon's office door was left ajar, and there was Theresa, sitting on the couch braiding a mannequin head's hair, her pretty little face the picture of concentration.

"Wow, she's gorgeous, absolutely adorable." Someone blurted out first, "That girl really hit the jackpot in the reincarnation lottery."

"Who's Mr. Crawley's wife?" Others chimed in with envy, "Talk about living the dream! A hubby who's both a looker and loaded, and a daughter with off-the-charts cuteness."

"Seriously, she must've saved more than just the galaxy in her past life."

The buzzing chatter had Theresa, who was diligently braiding hair, glancing towards the door in confusion. When she looked up and saw all people outside staring at her with curiosity, she was momentarily taken aback, and her braiding slowed to a halt.

"Hey there, kiddo," the assistant closest to the door was the first to wave and greet her.

Theresa waved back, still a bit dazed, but managed to greet politely in a soft voice, "Hello, Miss."

Her adorable response had everyone melting, totally smitten, but since she was the boss's kid, no one dared to come over and fuss over her.

Kent cleared his throat, interrupting everyone's ogling, "Aren't you supposed to be working? Guess it's been too long since you've been put in your place, huh?"

The onlookers scattered like birds at the sound.

Theresa looked on, even more puzzled and clueless, not understanding why everyone was making such a fuss over her.

Kent didn't bother explaining, and just cooed to her, "Keep on playing, Theresa, and if you need anything, just holler for me."

"Okay."

Her response was just as sweet and obedient as ever, and she went back to focusing on her task at hand.

Brandon approached to him and with a thwack, slammed the documents onto Daniel's desk.

Daniel glanced at them, recognizing the screenshots from the video where he and Patricia had cornered Sophia at the lounge. His face twitched slightly, but he still put on an elder's demeanor when he addressed Brandon, "I didn't go to find her; it was a chance encounter at the lounge."

"Then chalk it up to bad luck. Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into yours." Brandon said flatly, "What did I tell you before? You two have about 15% of the company shares left. Every time you go looking for Sophia, I'll take back 5 points, until there's nothing left."

While talking, Brandon picked up the document he'd thrown on the table, displaying the screenshot of Daniel and Patricia cornering Sophia, "Once!"

He tossed the call log onto the table, "Twice!"

"And as for the third time." Brandon said, lifting his eyes to meet Daniel's, "Around 11:50 AM on the 17th of this month, in the lobby on the first floor of the company."

Daniel's face turned dark with anger, "She came down to find me; what's that got to do with me?"
