“I'm listening.” She urges and I almost sing with excitement.

“You've worked with Alina for the longest time. You might not know everything she has been up to, but you know enough to make her receive a good sentence when exposed. Rhea.” I lean forward and dare to place my hands on hers. She doesn't withdraw as expected and that makes me almost smile. “Alina did you dirty. She betrayed you like you meant nothing to her. You are suffering for her sins and that's very unfair. If you'd just tell me a few things or point out a few people or places where I get some evidence against her, I promise Alina will be put to justice and your sentence will be reduced. What do you think about that?” I ask in my calmest and most melancholic tone. My eyes are searching her expressionless face and I’m praying in my heart for her to say something positive.

My heart drops into my stomach when she slides her hands from beneath mine and places them on her lap. Her eyes are glistening with tears and she's staring at everywhere else but my face.

When she looks at me again, the tears in her eyes have dried up and she has this determined look on her face that gives me hope.

“Caleb Jones.” She says quietly. I get even more confused.

“Caleb Jones? Who is he?”

“He's a Tech guy. He has connections in the castle and he's the one responsible for hiding the CCTV footage that could incriminate Alina. This footage will show you the meetings we've held and every plan she has ever made with anyone in that castle. Even the conversation where she ordered the servant to serve poison to Hayley is in one of those footage. Get a hold of Caleb, I'm not sure he destroyed that footage. If you can get them from him, then this case is closed.”

“Got it. I will tell Delta Kyle and he'll make sure that happens.”

“Delta Kyle?” She asks aghast. “Isn't that Alina's brother? What makes you think he'd do anything about it?”

“Trust me, Kyle is not on Alina's side. He's working hard, just like I am to bring her down. You have nothing to be worried about.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes. I promise.”

She shrugs her shoulders.

“Also… if Alina was ever pregnant, there's just one person who could have been responsible and that person isn't Alpha Reagan.”
