she wiped a bead of sweat, standing up. her yellow and black tent was up and stood next to the red tent which belonged to Brooke on the other side there was a grey tent which was Nik's much to her dismay. opposite to her was a pink tent of Madison, 10 steps difference between their tents, a blue tent next to hers which belonged to Tessa. A white and blue tent of twins that stood opposite to black tent belonging to Ryan, a red and blue tent next to his, belonging to adam.

she glanced at the sky. it was getting dark, the sky illuminated the golden glow of the sun, which was disappearing slowly. they had to start the fire, mia thought hearing crickets chirping. they also had to eat something, her stomach growled agreeing with her. "it's getting dark, we should start the fire" nik voices, he stood in front of her. the sun was setting, there wasn't much light as they were surrounded by trees.

she looked around, watching as everyone fixed up their tents. mia and the others reached their destined place, where they were now camping, the tents were set, and mia was somewhat tired from all the walking. her clothes were now dry, she growled as she recalled how Jason accidentally pushed her, as his squirrel was trying to escape from him, she fell into a lake.

she recalled how madison almost died of laughter and Marcus scolded Jason. the squirrel was gone thankfully but Jason was still in a sour mood. and thank god there weren't any alligators. the wind howled in the forest making mia's teeth clench, the climate was chilly, making mia wrap her hands around herself. Brooke stood next to her and Jacob next to Brooke. she felt an arm wrap around her, she looked at adam who was smirking at a pissed of looking nik. "let's gather the firewood then" Ryan says shoving his hands in his hoodie. "not it" the twins said together. mia rolls her eyes along with Marcus as the twins glared at each other.

"let's go," nik says to Ryan detaching himself from madison. he glares at mia, who glares back at him, then he disappears into the woods, she releases her breath which she didnt knew she was holding. Tessa was gathering up the stones and setting up in a circle, Marcus helping her. madison walked up to adam making mia internally groan.

"Maddie" adam greets her who smiles at him. "Adam" she nods then looks at mia "mia," she says with a smirk. "Brooke" Brooke says joining in the conversation. mia shoots her a look, she shrugs at her. "I have told you, didn't I? that my niky will be back with me?" Madison smirks at mia. she smiles falsely at her "no, you said he won't go for me and stay away from him" mia says furrowing her brows. Madison glares at mia and she smiles back at her sweetly. a scoff escapes from Madison as she rolls her eyes. "so since when did you start stalking mia?"

Brooke asks placing her elbow on Mia's shoulder. Mia rolls her eyes "you mean nik" she says. "I don't stalk him!" she says. "you do, follow him around," adam says. "shut up tiny- weenie," Madison says making him gasp. Mia snorts then closes her mouth as Adam looks at her. Brooke laughs patting his back "It's okay bud" she says to him as he shrugs her handoff. "oh remember the time when you made out with jimmy, my dog?" adam asks and mia and Brooke laugh "you did what?!" she asks wiping the tears escaped from laughing.
