Mia.

Her throat tightens and she takes a quick intake of breath. Mia falls to the ground, scraping her knees. it stung but nothing felt more painful than her heartbreak. Her lips trembled as she lets out an inaudible sob. the girl's shaky hands reached her face wiping away her tears which flood furiously down her red cheeks. her vision became blurry and she let out incoherent words putting her hands in her hair, pulling it out.

she was hurt. Mia trusted him and gave him her heart and he just broke it. but a part of her was happy he told her that the truth. she couldn't help but feel he was hiding something more. Mia didn't know what to do. did she have to forgive him and take him back and live in doubt that one day he will do this again? or she had to stay away from him.

was it all fake? the feelings, the moment they shared, was it ever real? she wanted it to be real. she had to stay away from Nik but Mia knew she can't do that, even though she was with Nik for a few months it felt like years. every moment they shared was magical to mia. sure she hated his guts in the beginning but he warmed up to her, she started to love his annoying presence, the dirty remarks, his smirks. his laugh, his beautiful green eyes.

He made her forget about all her problems. the return of her brothers, her nightmares, her being the mafia princess. he made her feel normal, he made her happy, annoyed, angry but most of all he made her feel alive. she hated feeling like this, she hated that she still wants the warmth she feels in his arms, the sweet nothings he whispers in her ears, the teasing, the kisses, his addicting scent.

she felt flashes of memories they spent together. their little quarrel when they first met, their pranks on each other, how they skipped school, the parties they went to, their first date, first kiss.

she sighed wiping another tear away, her mouth became dry and her eyes were swollen and red just like her nose. her face was were with tears,

she cried on her knees as the thunder roared across the sly, the dark clouds surrounded the forest, swallowing the forest whole. she wanted to cry more but she just had no tears left to cry. mia wanted to scream, but she felt as if there was no voice left in her. she ran her hand through her hair taking deep breaths.

she jumped hearing lighting dance across the sky. a raindrop fell on her, followed by another and other. the forest floor became muddy and wet and her hair became wet and clothes stuck on her like a second skin.rain was now pouring but she didn't care as the rain harshly hit her face. Mia could hear faint footsteps behind her, but she was too lost in pain to see who it was. a pair of black boots stop before her, she wipes her eyes to clear the blurry image and she lifts her head to look at the person with black boots but before she could, she felt a force on her head, and then everything went dark.

she blinked her eyes open and everything was blurry. mia winced as she felt a throbbing pain in her head. she tried to reach her face but couldn't. her eyes widen seeing her hands tied down to the wooden chair. panic-struck through her as her eyes fall to the ground seeing her legs tied up. she struggles against the ropes which burn against her making her tan skin red.
