I stared at the corridor right in front of me uncontrollably. There was no light at all in the whole house. The corridor was like an abyss that contained unknown dangerous, yet it was alluring.
The intoxicating smell was getting stronger and stronger. That aggressive smell rushed towards me, caught me tight like a huge net.
My heart started racing wildly. I almost forgot that there might still someone outside chasing me.
I just stared at the dark corridor right in front me.
I heard a door opened and then closed. Someone came out of a room and was approaching me.
The sound of footsteps was getting closer.
Those strange blue eyes popped into my head once again. Those eyes were as beautiful as the deep ocean. I could not help but indulging myself into those beautiful blue eyes. But I couldn't do this.
My instinct told me that the owner of these eyes were dangerous and cannot be trusted-even if they belonged to my mate.
My mate.
How did my mate gonna react when he found out I am just a weak slave who cannot shift?
I could handle the ridicule and insult from anyone. But being rejected by my mate that would be totally different.
Thinking of my current situation, I soon lost all my strength and hope.
I don't wanna meet my mate like this and I don't wanna to hear his rejection right now, not after what just happened to me.
I turned around and tried to open the door to escape from this place.
But before I can reached the door nob, some one grabbed me.
He pulled my shoulder and forced me to turn back.
The light above me was turned on somehow.
