"I don't know when you got all wise and stuff, but thank you." I said as I hugged her again and she laughed.

"Now. Why don't you tell me what's really going on with your necklace. I know you well enough to know that it's very special to you. Even with it causing you pain you kept it on. So why did you take it off now?" Brie asked in a serious tone.

I took a deep breath and sighed before I explained what I knew to her. I told her about the dream again, and told her about the voice in my head. She just chuckled. Finally talking about the voice out loud seemed to store something inside of me. I almost felt power radiating from me. Similar to how I would feel before my necklace would start burning and the headache began.

"Maybe I am the only human in our group." She sighed.

"Nah, I'm human, ask any of the guys." I laughed. We linked our arms and continued talking about the guys. The feeling of power inside me didn't go away.

"I'm worried about you, you know?" Brie admitted a little while later, "I know you are falling for Michael, and he is falling for you. You guys have a deep connection, anyone could see that. But he would know if you were his mate. And he definitely has a mate out there. I'm just worried you'll get hurt, just be careful."

We slowly walked back to the group. Everyone sitting there perked up as we came closer. They seemed to be smelling the air, especially Michael. His eyes locked with mine. 'Mate' the voice in my head said strongly. I could feel a powerful emotion washing through me. Love. He and the other werewolves seemed very confused and on edge. He came walking towards me but stopped suddenly when his eyes glazed over, someone had told me that happens when they mindlink so I wasn't surprised. Everyone but Brian and Michael were still staring at me and sniffing the air. If it weren't for the shock I was in I would've laughed at how silly they looked.

Soon enough pack members came down to tell us the coast was clear. Amy grabbed my arm to wake me up and noticed that I was burning up. I was half delirious by this point. I couldn't hear what everyone was saying and the room was starting to spin. I could feel sweat droplets on my forehead.

Next thing I knew I was in someone arms, they were running super fast. We approached Thomas's house and went inside. Thomas laid me down on my bed. Amy soon came in and gave me some sort of herbs, she mentioned a high fever and illness. They both took a big whiff and deadpanned.

Amy muttered about needing to put up a shield. She started muttering in another language, visible fatigue came over her quickly so Thomas grabbed her hand. Her hands glowed slightly and it felt like the air was sucked out of the room. She sat down on the bed then looked up to Thomas and thanked him. I'm not sure when or if they left, I may have fallen asleep, I couldn't remember, all I felt was peaceful darkness, though the pain lingered.
