"So my party is tomorrow and I'd like it if everyone came." Michael stated with a smile, he was sitting next me me with his arms around my shoulder, pulling me close to his side.

"Is that wise?" Thomas asked.

"I don't see why not. Everyone has seen all of you before now, had even see me and Noel being cozy before everything happened. If all goes well I'll be named Alpha which will take a lot of pressure off." Michael explained. I had an uneasy feeling in my stomach, I hadn't left the safety surrounding Thomas's house in weeks and I was a bit nervous at the thought of venturing out.

"Do you think he's going to step down?" Brian asked with a serious face. Brie was sitting next to brain holding his hand, she straightened up a bit when she heard her mates serious question.

"I hope so." Michael stated and shrugged, "if not I'll challenge him for it." The way he said it was very nonchalant, but everyone in the room stiffened. Challenging an Alpha was a big deal and not something to take lightly.

"Are you sure you want to do that?" Brian asked, and received a glare from Michael, "I will stand behind you no matter what, I just want to make sure you've thought it through. He is your father."

"He is my father but without my mother he has become weak. He is not making good decisions. It is time for me to take over, weather it's amicable or not is up to him." Michael stated before grumbling about needing a shower and leaving the room. I had never heard Michael speak of his mother and didn't know what to make of it. Brian must've noticed the clueless look on my face and sighed once Michael was out of earshot.

"Michael's mother, was Alpha Alan's mate. He cheated on her for some crazy unknown reason and it killed her. They were both very young when they mated and had Michael, like 16 or 17, several years later, when Michael was 7 his mom was pregnant with another pup. Alpha Alan slept with another woman. It caused Luna Michelle's heart to stop. It killed her and their unborn pup. None of them have been quite the same since. The woman he slept with is who we are now forced to call Luna, Angelica." Brian explained with a pained look. I hadn't realized the mate bond could do that. I knew you could feel each other's pain through it, but this was something no one had mentioned before. It made sense though, I can't imagine living through the emotional pain if Michael betrayed me that way, let alone the physical pain it apparently causes.

"For someone to knowingly cause that kind of pain on their mate is despicable." Thomas spat, visibly angered, "he should've been forced to step down when it happened."

"Nymeriah is your sister? How is that possible? You'd have to be...." Amy dropped her sentence before finishing it. I could see the wheels turning in her head. "You're a hybrid too? Part witch?"

"That I am." Thomas responded with a wink.

Wait what?!

"I should've picked up on that sooner. The scent is almost non existent if you aren't looking for it. However, I knew Nymeriah for hundreds of years. She never mentioned a brother." Amy stated with her arms crossed and voice on edge. So now, not only was my uncle sitting across from me but also a long time friend of my mother. I was bursting at the seams. Lilith encouraged me to listen a little while longer before letting them know. Brie seemed to sense something was up, she glanced at me and raised an eye brow but thankfully didn't ask.
