Chapter 300 Do You Have a Problem with That? 

“Is this the kind of thing your parents taught you?”

Yvonne was fuming, trying to calm herself with deep breaths. “Samantha, my parents have never wronged you. How dare you insult them?” 

Samantha shot back, “Well, I never wronged you, but how can you spread rumors that I’m some old guy’s kept woman? And let’s be clear: anyone who can accuse innocent women of being kept like that isn’t exactly a good person. Case in point–you, Yvonne, are not a good person.” 

Yvonne quickly realized that no matter what she said, Samantha would have a comeback for everything. I’m done talking to her. There’s no point. I just can’t win this! 

Glaring at Samantha, she snapped, “Fine, I can’t argue with you. But the more you defend yourself, the more it sounds like you’re trying to cover up the fact that you really are a kept woman!” 

Samantha just stared at her. “You’re delusional. Just get out-” 

Yvonne frowned. “I’m here to shop for clothes. You don’t own this store. What gives you the right to tell me to leave?” 

“Simple,” came a deep voice from the dressing room door. “The whole mall belongs to me.” 

Finley stepped out, dressed head to toe in black, exuding an air of authority. He walked over and pulled Samantha into his arms. “And since Samantha is my woman, that makes this mall hers, too. So, yeah, she has every right to throw you out.” 

Yvonne’s face turned pale the moment she saw him. She stammered, “M–Mr. Dean… What are you doing here?” 

“Shopping with my woman,” he replied coolly. “This is my mall. Do you have a problem with me being in 

own mall?”

Yvonne frantically shook her head. “N–Not at all.” 

How would I dare? 

I never would’ve guessed it–Samantha is actually Finley’s woman. 

Isn’t everyone saying Finley is cursed, that every wife of his meets a bad end?

After taking a few shaky breaths, she finally turned to Finley, stammering, “M–Mr. Dean, I swear, I didn’t know Samantha was your woman. If I had known, I never would’ve said those awful things! Please forgive me!” 

Samantha watched Yvonne’s complete change in attitude, a mocking smile spreading across her face. “Weren’t you so bold just a moment ago, Yvonne? If you’re so tough, why not stay that way? Why the sudden change of heart the moment Finley walks in? Seems like money really does make people humble, huh? Now you’re all about apologizing and admitting you were wrong.” 

Yvonne was speechless. 

She couldn’t believe that Samantha was still fanning the flames at a time like this. 

Taking a deep breath, she pleaded, “Samantha, please don’t be like this. Look, I’m apologizing, okay? Can you just forgive me? Please?”
