Finley broke the silence and asked Samantha, “Emily said you had Garrison give her that diamond necklace?” 

“I did not!” 

“Then why does she think that? Is the person she mentioned Garrison Dean?” 

Who else at Saint Night Academy with the last name Dean could be so generous besides Garrison 

Samantha nodded. “Yeah.” 

Finley raised an eyebrow. “Why would Garrison return a diamond necklace to Emily for no reason?” 

Samantha frowned, trying to make sense of it. Where does Finley get the idea that Garrison would randomly gift Emily a diamond necklace? Gifts like that don’t just happen out of the blue. What is he thinking? 

Samantha looked at Finley and said, “This necklace is worth several hundred thousand dollars. Do you really think someone would just give that kind of money away for no reason? Especially to a girl? That doesn’t make any sense.” 

“So, you’re saying…” Finley trailed off, waiting for her explanation. 

Samantha chuckled softly. “I think Garrison has a thing for Emily. That’s the only explanation. He spent a sfortune on this diamond necklace because he likes her. But since he’s a bit shy, he used my name to give it 

to her. Emily totally bought it and came here to flaunt it in front of me.” 

Finley raised an eyebrow. “That sounds… odd.” 

But whether Garrison liked Emily or not wasn’t really Finley’s concern. With a nonchalant grunt, he let the topic drop, not wanting to dwell on it. However, Samantha couldn’t help but notice something off about his tone whenever Garrison’s name came up. 

“Did something happen between you and Garrison before?” she asked, her curiosity piqued. 

Finley shook his head. “No.” 

“No?” Samantha wasn’t entirely convinced. 

Finley remained calm, though she felt like there was more to the story, He reached out and gently ruffled her hair. “You don’t need to be curious about everything, Sam. Sometimes, digging too deep into certain things… doesn’t always lead to good outcomes.” 

What does he mean by that? 

Samantha decided to let it go for now. If Finley didn’t want to talk about it, there was no point pushing him. She stood up from the couch and made her way to the kitchen, where she saw Daphne serving the meal. Samantha walked over to help out.

Samantha and Finley returned to their room. As they settled in, she glanced at a message from her assistant, Joel Bates. It informed her that the company had successfully signed all the artists she wanted- except for Sylvan and Leon, who hadn’t come on board yet. Everyone else had signed. 

Joel just wanted to know how she planned to manage these artists moving forward. 

The challenge was clear. These artists had all been sabotaged in one way or another, their reputations dragged through the mud. If they wanted to get back into the spotlight, the first thing they needed was to clean up their image. Even if they couldn’t completely clear their names, they at least had to gain some level of public doubt about the accusations. Otherwise, even if they made a movie, it would be boycotted 

online. 

Coincidentally, the director Jacob Moore was in need of a lead actress and actor. 

Sylvan had been rehabilitated somewhat in the public eye-now people were on the fence about him rather than outright hostile. However, despite Samantha’s efforts to help, Sylvan refused to sign with her.

Samantha scanned the list of signed actors and found a promising candidate: Wendy Smith. Her scandal was slightly easier to tackle. She had once been a rising star in the industry, doing charity work and matching her bone marrow with a young girl in need. But after successfully matching, Wendy refused to donate, and the young girl tragically passed away. 

Once the public turned on someone, it didn’t take long for the ripple effect to draw others in.
