An hour later, a military aircraft departed from the headquarter of the North Army, heading towards Channing in the South.

Nathan, who was seated by the window, looked out the window, murmuring by himself with a smile, “Penny, Queenie, I'm on my way back!”

On the other end of the region in Channing, Ceaser, who was in the presidential suite of Babylon Hotel, stood facing the window, overseeing the charming scene of the city with a glass of champagne in his hand after he got changed in a white tuxedo.

The team of elites he had gathered and brought along with him was right behind him.

Faustus played along with him and said, “Mr. Goldstein, Southania is a region that's right next to the sea. As one of the international trade routes, the region's development will definitely be ahead of other regions.”

Leaser had his gaze on the skyscraper that was nearby and asked, “Why is there such a gigantic building in the middle of Channing's central business district? Who's the owner of the building?”

“Mr. Goldstein, it's the headquarter of Cross Group! In other words, it belongs to Nathan's wife! I believe it's the base of operation of her pharmaceutical company!”

Upon hearing Fautus' words, Leaser narrowed his eyes because he recalled the goals he was there.

He wasn't merely there to pick on Penny. One of his goals was to acquire Cross Group because a fortune would be needed to support Clifford in the run for the president.

Although the Goldstein family was the owner of a conglomerate, they wouldn't mind being above their financial safety margin.

If they could get their hands on Penny's Cross Group, they would have more than sufficient amount of political contribution for Clifford.

Faustus was dumbfounded when he found out about the presence of Ava. However, he put on a strong front and insisted, “I'll bring along a few elites with me! I'm sure we'll be able to outnumber her!”

“Can you please make use of the brain you have been blessed with? Can't you think of a better plan that doesn't require bloodshed?”

“I think Penny has a daughter, doesn't she? If my memory serves me right, her name is Queenie or something. Why don't you send someone to the elementary school and pick her daughter up on her behalf? If Queenie is with you, do you think Penny will turn down your request?”

Faustus' eyes gleamed in excitement when he heard of Leaser's flawless plan. “Mr. Goldstein! I'll get going immediately!”

Leaser waved at his subordinates and said, “I guess I'll see you in two hours.”
