Bobbi put on a smug face and said, “I know you guys can fight. That's why I specially prepared more than five hundred veteran fighters as a parting gift for you. Let's see how well you guys do against them.”
Perplexed, Penny's face was drained of all colors upon seeing the plethora of fighters around her.
Colin and the Elite Eight had also tensed up.
On the other hand, Nathan seemed unperturbed by all of this. “Bobbi, the last time when I visited the Goldstein family for Ceaser's funeral, your family found out that Corey was the one responsible for Ceaser's death, not me,” he uttered calmly.
“Now why are you still bothering me?” asked
Nathan.
“Nathan, both my sister and my nephew were bullied by you before. Not only that, you've also done in a lot of our family's fighters, thus abasing our family name for the past few decades. After all that you've done, you think we'll just let you off the hook this easily?” answered Bobbi.
He then continued, “Furthermore, you even took the lives of my brother-in-law's children. That is why I've come today to take revenge on behalf of both the Goldstein and Davier families.
“Before, you were the august General of the North. But now, you're nothing, and there's no reason to fear you anymore. However, if you grovel on the ground and hand over the shareholding of Cross Group to me, I'll consider sparing your worthless life. There's no guarantee of letting you live though. I'll only think about it, hahaha...”
“You think I'll deign to do such things?” said Nathan with a smile.
“Hehe, Bobbi, I think you're mistaken. When I was still the General of the North, the Goldstein family was always insignificant in my eyes; and now it's still the same. Your family is nothing to me!” uttered Nathan.
Having heard his statement, Bobbi and his men were stupefied in place.
They knew that he was gonzo from the get-go, but they didn't realize it was an understatement.
Bobbi grinned hideously and snarled, “Hehe, you're not even the General of the North anymore and yet you dare to speak to me like this. Who gave you the balls to do so? Men, send him on his way now!”
“Yes, sir!” The overwhelming number of elite fighters lunged toward Nathan with katanas in hand. Their bloodlust could be felt from miles away.
However, at this exact moment, the sound of a gun firing startled everyone.
Will then went silent for a while.
Soon after, two generals who were tall and sturdy appeared out of nowhere onto the scene. They were the South Admiral and commanderin-chief of the West; Zach and Lucas.
“The Goldstein family is of no threat to us. Despite knowing this, you still intend to mess with my bro?” Zach snorted.
In shock, Bobbi looked at Zach with eyes opened wide. He opened his mouth to say something, but Zach sent a kick his way which left him flying off to the ground.
Before he could pick himself up, Lucas stepped on his chest cruelly, pinning him against the floor. The sound of bones cracking could be heard as Lucas was crushing his ribs with his leg. Bobbi like his heart was going to be squashed with that much pressure on his chest.
Lucas then glanced at Bobbi with disdain in his eyes and said, “Remember, Nathan is my brother. Even if he's not a general anymore, trash like you still isn't worth his time. I'll squash you like a bug the next time I see you messing with my bro, got it?"
Nathan couldn't help but smile as he saw that his brothers, Will, Zach, and Lucas were here for him.
