Staring at Bobbi who was pinned on the ground, Nathan smiled, “Regarding your question just now; the one where you asked me who gave me the nerves to look down on the Goldstein family. Well, let me answer it now. It's my brothers here who gave me the nerves to do so. How's that?”

Bobbi went quiet while his face was getting paler.

“Nathan, what should we do with this piece of sh*t?” Zach queried.

Nathan let out a subtle smile and replied, “We aren't as petty as him. Just let him take his men and scram!”

Zach gazed at Bobbi and said, “Did you hear what Nathan said? Get out of our face! If you and the Goldstein family ever come to bother

him again, I'll be the first one to come after you.”

Lucas then exerted just a little bit of his strength onto Bobbi's chest with his leg and ended up cracking more of his ribs. “You heard what Nathan and Zach said?”

“Yes... Yes I did,” spluttered Bobbi.

After that, Lucas withdrew his leg before uttering, “I hope the Goldstein family will know better than to mess with us next time!”

Bobbi was helped up by two of his men while he was still covering his broken chest with his hand. “Let's go,” said Bobbi in a low voice as he shot daggers at Nathan.

In the blink of an eye, Bobbi and his men were gone without a trace.

“Thank you, my brothers, for helping me out,”

Nathan said to Will, Zach, and Lucas with a broad smile on his face.

“Like you said, we're brothers. It's only natural for us to help you out," Zach responded.

“Yes, we got the news that you were leaving today so we came to see you off,” Lucas said.

“Initially, Garrett was supposed to come with us but he couldn't make it as he had an urgent meeting he needed to attend. Hence, he requested that I apologize to you on his behalf,” Will added.

Nathan smiled, “No worries, I understand. Since it's the crucial time for the general elections, Garrett must have a lot going on in his hands.”

“Honestly, what's the President thinking, stripping you off your position right before the end of his term? You're his protege after all.

“Not to mention, you've helped Garrett countless times. And yet, you're now just a sacrificial pawn to him so that he could become the new President. He didn't even come to see you off. How could he...” Zach blurted in a grievance.

“Be careful of your words, Zach.” Nathan cut him off, “I didn't follow Mr. Windsor's instruction to support Mr. Lucas when I was still the general.

However, he couldn't get those words out of his chest.

In the end, he could only nod and reply, “Okay, you're welcome to grab a drink with me anytime.”

After bidding goodbye to Will, Zach, Lucas, Collin, and the Elite Eight, Nathan, together with Penny walked into the airport to board their plane to Channing.

The plane they were boarding was a mini private plane.

As they were getting on the plane, they turned around and looked behind them.

“Attention! Salute!” Will commanded in a deep

tone.

“Goodbye, General!” Will and the two thousand soldiers behind him chanted in unison and honored Nathan with a uniform salute as their last form of respect.

Nathan raised his hand to return the salute before heading into the private plane with Penny.

After that, the private plane lifted into the air and gradually disappeared from the soldiers' eyes.
