The other diners together with the restaurant owner, applauded upon hearing Nathan's words.

Penny's pretty face was cold as ice as she spoke up for Nathan. I also know that the Lancaster family is rich and powerful in Ariarica. You have close contacts and relationships with political figures and the army. Indeed, you have much influence in that country. But mind you, we are now in Eurasia, not Ariarica, so it's not up to you to do as you wish. Looking at Penny behaving like a furious protective mother hen, Nathan was nonplussed.

Brennan raised his brows and put on a pretentious grin, “Penny, don't think too highly of yourself and don't think too highly of Cross Group. In the face of Lancaster Family, your tiny Cross Group is nothing. If you offend us, we can force your company into bankruptcy.

“However, we are not here in Eurasia to declare war but to buy your company. So I will give you another day to think about it. If you agree to sell Cross Group, then you and your husband will be rich and can still live a luxurious life. If you refuse, hehe, I promise you will not end well!”

After he finished speaking, he left triumphantly, taking his men and bodyguards away.
