Chapter 1898 marks a crucial moment in Giselle’s Novel novel, Salute To The General (Nathan Cross). This chapter blends tension, emotion, and plot progression to deliver a memorable reading experience — one that keeps readers eagerly turning the page.

Nathan's lips curved ever so slightly, and a playful grin showed itself. “Awh, haven't you heard that you should only ever pick on the weak? Do you think that's me?” asked Nathan, “You have it so wrong.”

After saying his piece, Nathan extinguished his cigarette and stood up.

Casper growled, “You will fall, punk!”

As he spoke, he swung his leg over at Nathan.

Nathan sneered and swung his leg over as well. His kick was faster and stronger.

The two men's leg met mid-air.

Crack!

That was the chilling sound of bone cracking.

It was as if Nathan's leg was a steel rod, whereas Casper's leg was a brittle stick. One kick was all it took to break Casper's bones.

Casper's leg instantly turned into a strange, inverted V, and an agonized howl left his lips. “Ah!”

He barely got to shout before Nathan's second kick zipped over and knocked him down.

Splat!

Nathan's second kick landed on Casper's face, and blood flew everywhere!

Casper's scream stopped abruptly. His head tilted backward, and he was gone.

The others had already gotten close by then.

Nathan scoffed. He lifted his leg and stomped hard on the floor.

Boom!

A loud explosion.

The floor under Nathan's foot instantly cracked, and a wave of ripple spread out to its surroundings.

Every man within a ten-meter radius of Nathan had flown off the ground, then fell hard onto the floor. They were so injured that they couldn't get back up.

If Nathan dares to kill Clifford's kin, then as the son of Clifford's old pal, I am just a nobody!

Brennan finally feared for his life.

His voice trembled as he added, “I've spoken to Clifford, Nathan, and killing me will be equivalent to bringing the fight directly to Clifford. Also, I've contacted several leaders of the South, and they have promised that they will team up tomorrow. They will legally conduct a spot check on Cross Group, and if the company fails to meet their expectations, they will suspend the company's operations indefinitely.

“If you come after me, Nathan Cross, I will make sure that your company's doors permanently closes tomorrow. You can forget about conducting any business ever again, and your company will have to declare bankruptcy!”

Nathan sneered, “No wonder you acted so arrogantly. Turned out, you've already prepared things from both sides. In addition to getting a bunch of hooligans to come after us, you also conspired with the leaders of the South to make things difficult for us!”

Brennan steeled himself and shamelessly suggested, “Nathan Cross, I must acquire your company. You've offended Clifford, so your life in Eurasia will no longer remain peaceful. Under these circumstances, why not just sell your company to me? You'd get a sizeable sum, and you can take your family out of the country. You'll even have enough to lead a free and rich life. Staying here will just cause you to lose your life when Clifford comes to seek vengeance. You're a smart guy, so make the smart choice now.

Nathan replied, “Hah! I don't care if it's the Lancaster family or the Davier family. I am not afraid of either, and I certainly won't sell my company or run away. You can forget about it.”

Brennan said, “Okay. I'll admit I am defeated tonight, but come tomorrow, Dash Parr of the South will be making things difficult for Cross Group. I'd like to see what you can do about that!”

Nathan smiled and turned to Colin to order, Get Dash here. Tell him that the Chief Military Governor wants to treat him to a meal.”
