After a few hours, a total often planes landed in Channing Military Base.

At that time, the soldiers of the Channing military district were still fast asleep.

All of a sudden, the loud boom of the plane's engines echoed in the air as they landed at the base.

Many soldiers jumped to their feet in shock at the deafening sound and peered out the window. They were stunned at the sight of the huge planes that descended on the runways.

Furthermore, groups of heavily armed warriors dressed in black exited the planes in swift movements and gathered together.

All of the warriors were equipped with the latest technology and weapons.

The sight of their masked faces shocked everyone even further. There was the symbol of a ferocious tiger imprinted on all of their masks!

“Wow, where are these people from? Could it be a newly formed special forces regiment?” The Channing troops asked bewilderedly at the sight of the soldiers.

“Do you live under a rock?” One of the soldiers retorted immediately, “Didn't you see the latest news?

“These people must be the new guards formed by the Chief Military Governor. They are the famous Felidae Battalion!”

Late at night, Penny and her family were in a

deep slumber.

Yet, Nathan remained awake as he was reading a book in his study room.

Suddenly, Ava knocked on the door and entered the room. “General, the elite soldiers of the Felidae Battalion have arrived in Channing.”

“They have finished their preparations and are waiting for your next command.”

“Tell Colin to lead the Felidae Battalion to the estuary of Crane River and intercept Rax over there,” Nathan said calmly.

As soon as he spoke, Rax realized that the speed of his boat had decreased. After a few moments, it slowed to a total halt.

Outside, the faint sound of angry grumblings could be heard through the walls.

Rax furrowed his brows at the noise, and he decided to head out to investigate.

Before he could leave, Cruel Blade burst into the room, “Mr. Goldstein, there's something amiss.”

“What happened?” Rax asked him.

“The Crane River estuary is just up ahead,” Cruel Blade said, “But there are customs in place, blocking all the boats. They are carrying out an inspection on each vessel to prevent any smuggling of illegal goods.”

“How dare the Southern customs stop my boats?” Rax uttered coldly upon hearing the news.

“I'm frustrated too!” Cruel Blade said angrily.

“It stands to reason that no one dares to interfere with the Goldstein family! How dare they meddle with your affairs? Yet, they insisted on carrying out this inspection, preventing us from moving further.”

“Mr. Golstein, should I lead our troops ashore and slaughter all of the trifling workers?”
