The next day, many of Mighty Rax's sworn brothers, disciples, and members of the Goldstein family gathered in front of Lamburg Mountain Villa.

“Mighty Rax, we congratulate you for your return!” The enormous crowd shouted in unison as they gathered together.

Rax was over fifty years old. His greying sideburns and crooked nose gave him a very stoic appearance. Along with Cruel Blade and the Eight Heavenly Warlords, he emerged in front of the villa.

At the sight of Mighty Rax, the excited cheers became even louder. The atmosphere around the villa was joyous and bustling.

The moment Rax lifted his hand, silence descended over the crowd.

“I'm sure everyone is well aware of the reason for my return. Thus, I will not delve into the details,” Rax scanned the crowd around him and said slowly, “Right now, I have only one thing to announce. I will cover Channing in blood as revenge on behalf of my son.”

“Kill! Kill! Kill...” The crowd around him roared with bloodlust.

A satisfied smile painted his face as Rax saw the enthusiasm of his subordinates. “Bring Sherms¹ ashes along. We will exact our revenge and head towards Channing,” Rax turned around and ordered Cruel Blade to do his bidding.

“Yes sir!” Cruel Blade replied.

In the blink of an eye, Mighty Rax gathered his army and led them towards the South.

All the roads that led towards Channing were filled with Rax's men and horses at that moment.

Once they entered the South, the troops gathered in Alberesque.

Next, Rax and thousands of his subordinates boarded countless warships down the river streams towards Channing.

Vessels of different sizes dotted the entire river surface as they floated along with the river current.

Their flags fluttered in the wind, and the soldiers' swords glinted sharply under the light.

Everyone was stunned by the display of strength and gathered by the river to watch the boats as they exclaimed in shock.

When they found out that Mighty Rax was here to get his revenge on Nathan, they felt sympathetic towards his misfortune. Nathan no longer held the title of General of the North and would be powerless against the Rax's wrath.

Meanwhile, news of Rax's campaign for revenge traveled to Channing very quickly.

“General, should we inform the South Army to make preparations for war?” Colin asked.

“We do not need to exhaust the local troops to go against Rax,” Nathan denied with a shake of his head.”

“Then, what should we do?” Colin asked again.

“Didn't I assign three thousand troops from the North's Felidae Battalion to Brimmopolis earlier? They are the Chief Military Governor's guards,” Nathan said with a faint smile on his lips.

“Follow my orders and move the Felidae

Battalion in secret. I want them to arrive at

Channing as soon as possible and wait for

further commands.”

“Understood!” Colin saluted and rushed off to obey his instructions.
