Dennis was a rather famous entrepreneur in Brimmopolis. In addition to being rich, he also had an amazing network and had both the authorities and the gangsters backing him up.
He assumed that Nathan was a poor guy who had just arrived in Brimmopolis. There's no way a guy like that will have the guts to cause any trouble or hurt me.
That thought was the reason why Dennis taunted Nathan to that extent.
To Dennis' dismay, he caught a grin creeping up on Nathan's lips as well as cruelty flashing in his eyes.
Shoot!
Dennis suddenly had a bad feeling about it.
He was shocked and instinctively tried to move his head away.
Unfortunately, Nathan had already attacked.
He lifted his hand and swung his palm toward Dennis' ugly face.
Nathan's hand zipped past the air.
Dennis' eyes bulged as he watched Nathan's palm getting closer and closer. He couldn't avoid it at all.
Slap!
A surprisingly loud slap echoed.
Nathan's palm had swept mercilessly across Dennis' hideous face.
That slap was so strong that it was like a lightning strike or a tsunami slamming down. It didn't matter how strong a person was. They would not be able to withstand it.
Nathan's slap broke Dennis' teeth and forced him to spit blood. Like a kite with a broken string, Dennis flew backward.
Everyone on site was flabbergasted.
Several spectators wore a surprised expression. Everyone stared at Nathan in astonishment as they thought, Dang, this foreigner is so gutsy. He actually slapped Mr. Turner!
Nathan grinned at everyone and announced nonchalantly, “You guys saw how things went. He asked for it.”
Everyone turned to one another.
That was when Dennis' bodyguard finally came back around from the shock.
“Boss!”
“Wake up, boss!”
“Are you alright?”
Penny, Kylie, and Queenie all looked nervous.
Nathan remained calm, and so did Colin, who was standing behind him.
Nathan chuckled and commented, “I'd like to see how powerful you really are in Brimmopolis.”
Ten minutes later.
Over ten cars of different brands and models pulled up at the entrance of the hotel.
Soon, they saw a guy in a black windbreaker and a cast on his right arm. The guy looked fierce and had a bunch of subordinates with him.
When Dennis saw the guy, he rushed over and exclaimed, “Tyranno, you're finally here!”
The one who came to his rescue turned out to be Tyranno, whose arm Nathan had just broken earlier that day.
Tyranno led his men over, and as he scanned the surroundings, he asked, “Mr. Turner, who is the idiot who hurt you?”
Dennis pointed at Nathan and roared, “That's the one.”
Tyranno traced Dennis' finger and saw Nathan, who had a skin-deep grin on. The second their eyes met, Tyranno trembled as he had just been struck by lightning, and his eyes cowered with fear.
Him!
