Jack uttered, "Supposedly, it's the heir of the Ortiz family of the Southern Four, Shane Ortiz."

This piqued Nathan's curiosity. "I don't even know Shane Ortiz. Why would he cause trouble for me?"

Jack leaned over to whisper in his ear, "According to Daniel, it would seem like Hank Tonkins and his wife had asked Ortiz to do it."

In an instant, Nathan understood everything.

He waved his hand in dismissal. "Alright, I understand now."

"Master, if there's nothing else, I'll take my leave. Call me if you need me and we'll be there immediately," Jack murmured.

Then, he led his men away and was gone in mere seconds.

Penny and the rest had bewildered looks on their faces. They insisted that Nathan did not know the Ortiz family at all;why would they send someone after him?

The Tonkins had strange looks on their faces as fear shone in their eyes.

They had not expected that Nathan would have such amazing combat skills, nor did they know that he was so well-connected.Even Daniel's boss, Mr. Green, had to defer to him!

They had seen how Jack had whispered in Nathan's ear and knew that they had been exposed.

Nathan definitely knew the truth now.

Presently, they were staring at Nathan fearfully, wondering what he would do to them.

Nathan's head moved to look in their direction and the three of them locked gazes. The Tonkins' hearts started to pound harder.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, Nathan questioned, "Hank, Prudence, shall we continue singing?"

Thankful that he had not exposed them, they hurriedly shook their heads. "N... No thanks. We need to go back to the hotel now. Goodbye..."

The Smiths were befuddled at how fast the Tonkins had slunk away.

Smiling faintly, Nathan commented, "The events earlier were probably too much for them."

Realization dawned upon them and they nodded in agreement.

After that, they left for home too.

Meanwhile...

In Yoel's eyes, he was the best fighter in the world, with Fabian coming at a close second.

Cross must have used some despicable means to kill Fabian.

Joseph answered in a trembling voice, "It's really not my fault. I warned Fabian not to be reckless, but you know how proud he is. There's no way he would've listened to me. He insisted on killing Cross himself and now he's dead..."

Carl took several deep breaths to calm his raging emotions before he spat to Yoel, "The one to blame here is Nathan Cross.

You shouldn't take your anger out on Joseph, Yoel."

Furious, Yoel slammed his fist into the pillar beside him.

With a loud rumble, the pillar shattered and crumbled to the ground.

Fighting back the inferno burning inside him, he growled, "Sir, we have to get revenge for Fabian. I can't wait a moment longer."

Carl patted his shoulder. "I feel the same way. Tomorrow morning, I'll gather up the Eighteen Hounds and lead all of our elites towards Channing. We're going to chop off Cross' head and offer it up to Fabian's grave!"

Yoel nodded in determination.
