Yorick
The rest of the week went by without any problems and once I knew Cyra was completely healed, I showed her how happy I was that she was healthy again.
Over the weekend, we slept in, let our wolves run together, studied together, ate together, and had sex. A lot. It was amazing. I know I’m here to become in incredible warrior, we both are, but it’s a lot easier to work hard when you get to play hard too.
l almost dread Sunday night, knowing we’ll have to go back to classes tomorrow. Almost. I’ve been skimming through our books for this semester and I’m still hopeful that something in all of this will give me the information I need to help Cyra break her alliance bond.
On our way back from dinner, I check my mail, seeing a letter from Wendy. It reminds me that I got an email from her over the weekend that I haven’t read yet.
“Oh shit,” I say.
“What?” Cyra asks, looking at the letter in my hand.
“Wendy wrote me twice. That means I’m going to have to write her back.”
Cyra laughs. “It’s not like it’s some terrible thing to write a letter, Yorick. She’s your sister. Maybe she’s giving you”You could give me some incentive to write her,” | purr at her.
“What kind of incentive?” she asks. Tonight, we’re sleeping in her room. We’ve started alternating so that both of our rooms smell like the other.
“You could study naked while I write my letter,” I say, making her laugh.
“That’s not an incentive, Yorick. That’s called a distraction.”
“You can be a distracting incentive.”
When we step into her room, she turns and runs her hands over my chest. “An incentive would be something like me saying, If you finish a letter to your sister, I’ll give you a blow job’,” she says.
“How many pages does it have to be,” I ask in rapid fire staccato. My dick is already going hard with the thought of Cyra’s perfect mouth wrapped around it.
“At least two,” she says, laughing.
“On it,” I say, grabbing my computer off her desk and getting settled on her loveseat before opening my email.
“Shouldn’t you read her letters first?” she says to me, getting one of her books and sitting on the other end of the loveseat. This is our new way of studying together, our legs entwined while we study.l open the paper letter first and read it.
‘Hey Yorick!
I know you didn’t expect to hear from me so soon, but since I wanted to encourage you to write me quickly, l wrote the day you left.
It’s already too quiet here. How can you have so much of a presence here that I already miss you?
After you left, everyone talked about how proud they are of you. It makes me wonder if maybe I should apply to the Warrior Academy. I mean, l’m really hoping that Henry is my mate, you know that, but if he’s not … I can’t stay here and watch him take a chosen mate. I need a path, a plan, in case the worst happens.’
“So dramatic,” I murmur.
“What’s that?”
“I told you about Alpha Henry, one of our allies?”
“Yes.”
“Well, he saved my younger sister’s life about a year ago and ever since then, she’s had an obsession that borders on hero worship. She’s hoping that he’s her mate, but Henry is older, early thirties, so he’s getting anxious to find his mate. Wendy is worried that he’ll take a chosen mate before she turns eighteen. So, now, she’s worried that even if he doesn’t take a chosen mate, they won’t be mates and as she says, ‘I need a path, a plan, in case the worst happens. The worst being that Henry isn’t her mate,” I say, rolling my eyes.
“That’s kind.of sweet, actually,” Cyra says.
“It’s dramatic,” I say, going back to the letter.
Wendy finishes this letter by letting me know she thinks Connor’s mate, Madison, is pregnant again. That wouldn’t surprise me. She also says that my parents are planning to return to Quirin and Kennedy’s pack in the next couple of weeks.
