The Heavenly Mirror was the treasure of the Silvermoon Sanctuary.
However, he had borrowed it before coupled with the promise now, so Colette naturally could not refuse him. She just asked, “Sect Master Simpson, what are you going to do by borrowing the Heavenly Mirror this time?”
“This is a little secret of mine,” Alex blurted.
Colette smiled. “Alright, I won’t pry into it then. I’ll wait here. Sect Master Simpson, please return the Heavenly Mirror at once after you’re done with it.”
“No problem!”
Alex nodded and took away the Heavenly Mirror before walking inside with Gibson.
Gibson glanced at Colette twice and thought, ‘This Heavenly Mirror of yours is destined to be gone forever. The Silvermoon Sanctuary will probably want me to take the blame. I won’t be able to stay long in the Sun Shrine for sure, so I should find another way out after this matter is done.’
Half an hour later, Alex left the treasure vault, contented.
Hermione was right. The Sun Shrine had really dug up ten or so ancient sanctuaries. The items in the treasure vault were a feast for the eyes with a wide variety to the point that they were abundant. Other than the consumables in the spiritual stones, several old objects inside emanated an ancient, mysterious aura that made Alex’s heart race a little.
Even the Mystic Maiden in the mind palace yelled. It was said that she sensed a sect master tier holy artifact, and there was more than one piece.
Alex almost jumped. ‘What a windfall!’
He cleared out the entire treasure vault without hesitation.
Not only that, but under Gibson’s guidance, Alex used the Xavion Sword to pry open Gabriel’s private treasure chest and took everything away.
Just as the overjoyed Alex was preparing to quickly leave the Sun Shrine and flee to the Endless Sea, the Mystic Maiden suddenly reminded him, “There’s something good in the northeast. Look for it.”
There were a few old trees halfway up the mountain, but none of them grew tall.
It was then that his eyes flashed as he saw something fleeting behind a tree. White in color, it was a living creature.
“Could it be a good thing…”
Once Alex’s feet flashed, he headed there via Instant Teleportation. When he took a look, it turned out to be a hairless, snow-white pig. The key was that it even emanated a fragrance that actually aroused Alex’s appetite to the point that his mouth watered.
As Alex’s eyes glowed, he wiped a handful of saliva and said, “This is a fine piece of meat!”
Gibson also wiped his saliva abruptly. “What kind of pig is this? I seem to be seeing a bowl of braised pork.”
The hairless pig was wide-eyed and infuriated, so it opened its mouth and spoke in human language, “To hell with you! Who do you think Grandpa Pig is? You want to eat Grandpa Pig? Can you bite through him, is the question?”
