“Uhm…”
Brittany felt like she couldn’t exactly explain this well to her husband since there had been so much that happened in the past few years, especially around her son. It would take years to finish explaining all this.
Hence, she just said, “We’ll head out there first. You’ll know when you see them.”
William frowned slightly, as he was quite happy with Dorothy being his daughter-in-law. Not only was she beautiful, she loved Alex with her whole heart. William even looked into their destinies and found out that their relationship was definitely fate. With Dorothy by his side, his son would be able to live a blessed life…
Hence, if Alex really did divorce Dorothy, William needed to scold him harshly for it.
In just a few moments, he exited the room, only to be shocked by what he saw next.
There were lots of beautiful young women who dressed rather nicely. All of them stood neatly in a row, with a cup each in their hands. Upon William’s arrival, they spoke at the very same time. “Congratulations on your return, Father. Please have some tea!”
‘What?!’
William looked at each and every one of them, frozen in place. He panicked and turned to Brittany. “What’s with this? Why are there so many girls? Just which one of them is our daughter-in-laws?”
Brittany gestured to the girls. “Uhm, actually… Everyone with a cup of tea is. Go on, drink up. Our daughter-in-laws are waiting.”
Dorothy, Beatrice, Daya, Esmeralda, Waltz, Maya, Dawn, Luna, Ynes, Phoebe, and Lena then all gathered here. There were eleven women in total, but that wasn’t all. Some of them weren‘t here at the time, so they couldn’t have a complete family reunion.
William was appalled, then yelled loudly. “Alex! Alex, get your *ss out here!”
“If you’ll excuse me, Father, I’ll be off now!”
Whoosh!
After that, Dorothy just disappeared into thin air, followed by Esmeralda, Daya, then the others…
William felt his heart drop. ‘I… I think I can see my daughters-in-law are no ordinary people!’
‘Why do they seem even more powerful than I am? I’m no match for them at all.’
‘What happened to this world? Could I still be in a coma?’
