Summary of Chapter 114 from The Queen Returns—And She's Unforgiving

Chapter 114 marks a crucial moment in Internet’s Marriage novel, The Queen Returns—And She's Unforgiving. This chapter blends tension, emotion, and plot progression to deliver a memorable reading experience — one that keeps readers eagerly turning the page.

It was only after the car was parked that Tiffany turned to look at Lucas. "The air between Evelyn and Mr. Harrison earlier didn't seem quite right. Were they arguing with each other?"

Lucas was looking at his messages. Without even batting an eyelid, he said, "No idea."

His attitude was icy, but Tiffany smiled. She liked that Lucas never gave a damn about Evelyn.

"Do you want to come upstairs?" Tiffany smiled and did not continue the topic.

Lucas glanced at his watch and replied, "I have to go back to the office to take care of some things. I'll visit your mother another time."

Tiffany did not insist. She got out of the car and said, "Drive safe."

"Sure. Go ahead."

Tiffany saw Lucas off and went upstairs to see that Millie was still reading. She briefly mentioned that Lucas was the one who dropped her off and also that they had met Evelyn.

Millie turned a page and smiled. "As expected, Evelyn is just as useless as her mother. She's incapable and foolish. She can't even keep a man and is nothing compared to you. She won't be able to kick up a storm anytime soon."

Tiffany was taken aback. "Her mother?"

Millie put down her book calmly. "She was a brainless and hypocritical woman. She liked to show off and pretend to be noble just because she was wealthy.

"She sponsored me and let all our classmates know about my family's situation. She did that to showcase how kind and great she was, so she could be more popular and attract more men," said Millie.

"Did she think she was a savior?" Millie's brow furrowed but relaxed soon after.

The tables had turned. At that moment, even Naomi's daughter was not comparable to her daughter.

Tiffany, on the other hand, did not say anything. That was because Evelyn had never been worthy enough to be her opponent.

Evelyn was swamped for a few days and rushed to finish her work. It was only after she was done that she discussed the details of Naomi's third death anniversary with Deborah.

In the past, they had only visited Naomi's grave during her death anniversary. However, they planned to set up an altar at home for Naomi this time, and they wanted their family to attend the ceremony.

Sebastian and Justine arrived early in the morning.

Justine was incredibly tactful, and she came forward, offering help. "I'll help you! I'm great with my hands!"

After Evelyn saw Justine bringing Deborah away, she rubbed her temples, looking tired.

"Do you want to call Lucas?" Sebastian asked.

Evelyn shook her head. She had made up her mind. "There's no need. If he doesn't come today, I'll just come clean with Granny and Uncle Lenny about the divorce."

She might as well set things straight.

Sebastian agreed.

After some time, Evelyn received a call from Blake, asking her to meet him at the door.

Evelyn was a little surprised to hear that he actually came.

However, her expression changed in an instant by the time she got to the door.
