Zane was determined to cause more trouble for Jessica. That way, she wouldn't have time to disturb Annalise.

Just then, somebody knocked on his office door.

Zane said emotionlessly, "Come in."

Sasha opened the door and cheerfully skipped into the room. When she saw Annalise wasn't around, she asked, "Where's Anna?"

"She's gone to sign autographs at the printing factory," Zane said honestly.

Sasha grumbled, "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

But Zane asked, "Would you have believed me if I did?"

Sasha immediately shook her head and answered, "Of course not."

Zane icily remarked, "Why bother, then?"

Upon hearing that, Sasha thought Zane made sense, and she pouted.

Zane asked, "What business do you have with her?"

But Sasha didn't want to tell Zane about it. She said, "I'll talk to her when she returns."

Then, Sasha walked out of the office. When she opened the door, she saw Eric outside. When Eric saw her, his eyes brightened up, too. He whispered, "Do you have any new gossip?"

"Yes! I was just looking for someone to share it with," Sasha whispered.

Eric responded, "Wait for me after work. Let's find a nice place to talk!"

Eric was determined to get his hands on the freshest gossip in the company!

Sasha said excitedly, "Okay!"

"The foreign publishers have completed their publishing procedures, but they're thinking of publishing just one batch of books for now. They don't have plans to launch the books for sale just yet."

Having no prior knowledge about publishing, Zane asked curiously, "Do they have other plans?"

Eric replied, "Yes. They're thinking of producing a movie. When the movie is released globally, they will launch a series of merchandise. If they launch the books at that time, the books will sell like hotcakes. But they're asking if we're interested in investing in the film."

Zane silently pondered on it.

Eric thought it was a good idea. He remarked, "If the box office performs well, we'll earn a lot from it, too."

After getting into this industry and receiving various intel, Eric realized it was a very profitable industry.

"But have you considered—if the box office flops…" Zane said, gazing at Eric.

Eric was left speechless. After a long time, Eric asked, "If that's the case, instead of investing in the film, do you plan to sell them the license and let them handle it themselves?"
